| 3 | 恶以扫，使他的山岭荒凉，把他的地业交给旷野的野狗。」 | And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. |
| 4 | 以东人说：「我们现在虽被毁坏，却要重建荒废之处。」万军之耶和华如此说：「任他们建造，我必拆毁；人必称他们的地为『罪恶之境』；称他们的民为『耶和华永远恼怒之民』。」 | Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever. |

And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? |
| 7 | 你们将污秽的食物献在我的坛上，且说：『我们在何事上污秽你呢？』因你们说，耶和华的桌子是可藐视的。 | Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible. |
| 8 | 你们将瞎眼的献为祭物，这不为恶吗？将瘸腿的、有病的献上，这不为恶吗？你献给你的省长，他岂喜悦你，岂能看你的情面吗？这是万军之耶和华说的。 | And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts. |

| 10 | 甚愿你们中间有一人关上殿门，免得你们徒然在我坛上烧火。万军之耶和华说：我不喜悦你们，也不从你们手中收纳供物。 | Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. |
| 11 | 万军之耶和华说：从日出之地到日落之处，我的名在外邦中必尊为大。在各处，人必奉我的名烧香，献洁净的供物，因为我的名在外邦中必尊为大。 | For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts. |

| 13 | 你们又说：『这些事何等烦琐！』并嗤之以鼻。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们把抢夺的、瘸腿的、有病的拿来献上为祭。我岂能从你们手中收纳呢？这是耶和华说的。 | Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord. |
| 14 | 行诡诈的在群中有公羊，他许愿却用有残疾的献给主，这人是可咒诅的。因为我是大君王，我的名在外邦中是可畏的。这是万军之耶和华说的。 | But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. |
