| 2 | 假若在别人，我不是使徒，在你们，我总是使徒，因为你们在主里正是我作使徒的印证。 | If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. |
| 3 | 我对那盘问我的人就是这样分诉： | Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, |
| 4 | 难道我们没有权柄靠福音吃喝吗？ | Have we not power to eat and to drink? |
| 5 | 难道我们没有权柄娶信主的姊妹为妻，带着一同往来，彷佛其余的使徒和主的弟兄并矶法一样吗？ | Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? |
| 6 | 独有我与巴拿巴没有权柄不做工吗？ | Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working? |
| 7 | 有谁当兵自备粮饷呢？有谁栽葡萄园不吃园里的果子呢？有谁牧养牛羊不吃牛羊的奶呢？ | Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? |

| 9 | 就如摩西的律法记着说：「牛在场上踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。」难道 神所挂念的是牛吗？ | For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? |
| 10 | 不全是为我们说的吗？分明是为我们说的。因为耕种的当存着指望去耕种；打场的也当存得粮的指望去打场。 | Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. |
| 11 | 我们若把属灵的种子撒在你们中间，就是从你们收割奉养肉身之物，这还算大事吗？ | If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? |
| 12 | 若别人在你们身上有这权柄，何况我们呢？然而，我们没有用过这权柄，倒凡事忍受，免得基督的福音被阻隔。 | If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. |
| 13 | 你们岂不知为圣事劳碌的就吃殿中的物吗？伺候祭坛的就分领坛上的物吗？ | Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? |
| 14 | 主也是这样命定，叫传福音的靠着福音养生。 | Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. |
| 15 | 但这权柄我全没有用过。我写这话，并非要你们这样待我，因为我宁可死也不叫人使我所夸的落了空。 | But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. |
| 16 | 我传福音原没有可夸的，因为我是不得已的。若不传福音，我便有祸了。 | For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! |
| 17 | 我若甘心做这事，就有赏赐；若不甘心，责任却已经托付我了。 | For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. |
| 18 | 既是这样，我的赏赐是甚么呢？就是我传福音的时候叫人不花钱得福音，免得用尽我传福音的权柄。 | What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. |
| 19 | 我虽是自由的，无人辖管；然而我甘心作了众人的仆人，为要多得人。 | For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. |
| 20 | 向犹太人，我就作犹太人，为要得犹太人；向律法以下的人，我虽不在律法以下，还是作律法以下的人，为要得律法以下的人。 | And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; |
| 21 | 向没有律法的人，我就作没有律法的人，为要得没有律法的人；其实我在 神面前，不是没有律法；在基督面前，正在律法之下。 | To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. |
| 22 | 向软弱的人，我就作软弱的人，为要得软弱的人。向甚么样的人，我就作甚么样的人。无论如何，总要救些人。 | To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. |
| 23 | 凡我所行的，都是为福音的缘故，为要与人同得这福音的好处。 | And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. |
| 24 | 岂不知在场上赛跑的都跑，但得奖赏的只有一人？你们也当这样跑，好叫你们得着奖赏。 | Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. |
| 25 | 凡较力争胜的，诸事都有节制，他们不过是要得能坏的冠冕；我们却是要得不能坏的冠冕。 | And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. |
| 26 | 所以，我奔跑不像无定向的；我斗拳不像打空气的。 | I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: |
| 27 | 我是攻克己身，叫身服我，恐怕我传福音给别人，自己反被弃绝了。 | But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. |
