| 2 | Samo je u Bogu mir, dušo moja, samo je u njemu spasenje. | He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. |
| 3 | Samo on je moja hrid i spasenje, utvrda moja: neću se pokolebati. | How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. |
| 4 | Dokle ćete na bijednika nasrtati, obarat' ga svi zajedno, k'o zid ruševan il' ogradu nagnutu? | They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. |
| 5 | Urotiše se da me s visa mog obore, u laži uživaju; ustima blagoslivlju, a u srcu proklinju. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. |

| 9 | U nj se, narode, uzdaj u svako doba; pred njim srca izlijevajte: Bog je naše utočište! | Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. |
| 10 | Sinovi su ljudski samo dašak, laž su djeca čovječja: svi da stanu na tezulju, od daha bi lakši bili. | Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. |
| 11 | U grabež se ne uzdajte nit' se otetim tašto hvalite; umnoži l' se blago, nek' vam srce za nj ne prione. | God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. |
