| 1 | 所傳於我儕者、有誰信之、耶和華之臂、向誰顯之、 | Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? |
| 2 | 惟其僕也、有如條肄、生於其前、亦猶根株、盤於槁壤、無丰度、無威儀、我儕見之、無美可慕、 | For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. |
| 3 | 彼被藐視、爲人厭棄、素歷困苦、洞悉病患、猶人掩面所不欲覩、而鄙夷者、我儕不重視之、○ | He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. |
| 4 | 彼誠負我病患、任我憂苦、我以爲彼受懲罰、上帝譴責、加以困苦、 | Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. |
| 5 | 惟彼因我罪而被創、緣我咎而受傷、彼遭譴責、俾我平康、彼見鞭扑、令我痊愈、 | But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. |
| 6 | 我儕如羊、行於歧路、各趨己途、耶和華以我衆之愆尤、置於其身、○ | All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. |
| 7 | 彼被屈抑、遇苦而不啟口、如羔牽就死地、若羊對翦毛者緘口無聲、 | He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. |
| 8 | 彼受屈抑訊鞫、被取而去、於其時代、誰料其見絕於生人之地、乃因我民有罪、當受厥刑乎、 | He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. |
| 9 | 彼雖未行凶暴、口無詭譎、猶使之與惡人同穴、乃與富人共塚、○ | And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. |
| 10 | 耶和華願損傷之、俾遘病患、彼獻己生爲贖罪祭、必見厥裔、其壽綿長、耶和華之志、藉其手而大成、 | Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. |
| 11 | 主曰、彼必見其艱苦之果、遂得滿志、我之義僕、將以其知識、俾多人爲義、而任其過、 | He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. |
| 12 | 我必使其與大人共業、與強者分財、以其傾厥生命、至於死亡、與罪人同列、實負多人之咎、爲干罪者祈焉、 | Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. |
