| 1 | 使者又以邑衢中維生水之河示我、其水光明如晶、自上帝及羔之座而出、 | And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. |
| 2 | 河之左右、有維生之樹、其果十有二種、月結其實、其葉以醫列邦、 | In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. |
| 3 | 咒詛不復有、上帝及羔之座在焉、其僕將事之、 | And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: |
| 4 | 且覲主面、主名亦在其額、 | And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. |
| 5 | 不復有夜、無需燈光日光、蓋主上帝光耀之、且彼衆秉權、以至世世、○ | And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. |
| 6 | 又謂我曰、此言信且眞也、主卽感諸先知之上帝、遣其使者、以必速成之事示其諸僕、 | And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. |
| 7 | 我必速至、守此書之豫言者福矣、○ | Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. |
| 8 | 於此事聞且見者、我約翰也、旣聞見之、遂伏拜示我此事之使者前、 | And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. |
| 9 | 彼謂我曰、毋以爲也、我與爾及爾諸兄弟卽先知、並守此書之言者、同爲僕、爾當拜上帝也、○ | Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. |
| 10 | 又曰、勿緘此書之豫言、蓋時邇矣、 | And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. |
| 11 | 不義者仍爲不義、汚穢者仍爲汚穢、義者仍爲義、聖者仍爲聖、 | He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. |
| 12 | 我必速至、攜其值、各依其工而報之、 | And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. |
| 13 | 我爲始與終、先與後、本與末、 | I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. |
| 14 | 滌其袍者福矣、俾得權於維生之樹、由諸門而入邑、 | Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. |
| 15 | 其外則有犬類、巫術、淫亂、兇殺、拜像、及凡好誑而行之者、○ | For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. |
| 16 | 我耶穌已遣我使、爲諸會以此事證於爾曹、我乃大衞之根株苗裔、及光明之晨星、○ | I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. |
| 17 | 聖神與新婦皆曰來、聞者亦當曰來、渴者當來、凡願之者、可得維生之水、而無費也、○ | And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. |
| 18 | 我語凡聞此書之豫言者、或加增之、上帝必以此書所錄之災、加諸彼、 | For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: |
| 19 | 或删減之、上帝必由此書所錄維生樹及聖邑、删除其分、○ | And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. |
| 20 | 證此書者曰、然、我乃速至、阿們、主耶穌其至哉、 | He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. |
| 21 | 願主耶穌之恩、與諸聖徒偕焉、阿們、 | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
