1 有予我以葦似杖、曰、起、量上帝殿與壇、及其中崇拜者、 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 殿外之院、舍之勿量、蓋已予列邦、彼將踐踏聖邑、四十有二月、 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 我將使我二證者、衣麻豫言、凡一千二百六十日、 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 此乃二橄欖樹、與二燈臺、立於全地之主前者也、 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 若有欲害之者、則有火出其口而吞其敵、凡欲害之者、必如是見殺也、 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 彼有權閉天、使於其豫言之日不雨、亦有權治諸水、變之爲血、且隨其所欲、以各災擊地、 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 其證旣畢、自淵而上之獸、將與之戰、勝而殺之、 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 屍仆大邑之衢、斯邑譬之所多瑪與埃及、卽其主釘十架之處也、 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 且自諸民諸族諸方諸邦、觀其屍者、三日有半、不許葬之於墓、 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 宅地之人、爲之欣喜歡忭、互相餽贈、蓋此二先知、曾苦宅地之人也、 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 越三日有半、生氣出自上帝者入之、遂起立、觀者大懼、 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 證者聞大聲自天語之曰、升於此、彼遂乘雲升天、其敵亦觀之、 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 是時也、地大震、邑圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘皆恐懼、歸榮於在天之上帝、○ And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 二禍旣往、三禍速至、 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 第七使者吹之、遂於天有大聲云、世之國已爲我主及其基督所有、彼將秉權、以至世世、 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 在上帝前、居厥座之二十四長老、面伏而拜、 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 曰、主上帝全能者乎、今在昔在者、我儕謝爾、因爾旣握大權而王也、 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 列邦逞怒、爾之怒遂臨、鞫乎死者、且賞賚爾僕、諸先知諸聖徒、及畏爾名者、或卑或尊、又敗壞乎敗壞於地者、其時已屆矣、○ And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 上帝之殿、在於天者啟矣、其約之匱見於殿中、卽有電與聲與雷、及地震大雹、 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
