1 所羅門爲己建宮室、歷十三年、始竣厥工、 But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
2 所建之宅、名利巴嫩林宮、長一百肘、廣五十肘、高三十肘、有柱四行、其上有梁、悉用香柏、 He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
3 柱上有屋、蓋以香柏、屋計四十有五、每層十五、 And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.
4 有牖三層、牖與牖相對、 And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.
5 所有門橛、俱以木作、形製維方、其牖三層、皆相對、 And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
6 復豎柱建廊、長五十肘、廣三十肘、廊前有廈、廈前有柱與階、 And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.
7 又建一廊、其中設座、卽聽訟之所、自下及上、蓋以香柏、 Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
8 廊後別院、王所居之室、製造亦若是、又爲所娶法老之女建宮、製造與此廊同、 And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.
9 凡此、自基至檐、自外至大院、皆用珍貴之石、循其量度、以鋸齊之、 All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.
10 基乃珍貴之石、其形甚巨、長十肘者有之、長八肘者有之、 And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
11 基上亦用珍貴之石、循其量度、亦有香柏、 And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
12 大院四周、有雕石三層、香柏一層、與耶和華室之內院、及廊同式、○ And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the Lord, and for the porch of the house.
13 所羅門王遣人召戶蘭、自推羅至、 And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
14 彼乃拿弗他利支派嫠婦之子、其父推羅人、業銅工、戶蘭聰明智慧、技藝俱備、善於銅工、乃詣所羅門王、爲之製造、 He was a widow’s son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
15 鑄銅柱二、各高十八肘、圍十二肘、 For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
16 鑄銅頂二、置於柱首、各高五肘、 And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
17 柱頂有綺文之網、及鏈索之環、其數各七、 And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
18 又作石榴二行、環網以蓋柱頂、二頂皆然、 And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
19 廊中柱頂、高四肘、狀如百合花、 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
20 柱頂凸處、附網環以石榴二行、其數二百、 And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
21 立柱於殿廊、右名雅斤、左名波阿斯、 And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
22 柱頂有百合花之製、作柱之工乃竣、 And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
23 鑄銅海、其式維圓、徑十肘、高五肘、圍三十肘、 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
24 其邊之下、四周有匏瓜二行、環於其海、十肘之長、海與匏瓜、同時而鑄、 And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
25 海有十二牛負之、北向三、西向三、南向三、東向三、海在其上、牛後內向、 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
26 海厚一掌、邊製如盂、式若百合花、可容二千罷特、 And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
27 又鑄銅座十、每座長四肘、廣四肘、高三肘、 And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
28 其制如左、座之四旁、緣內各有鑲版、 And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:
29 鑲板上、有獅牛與基路伯之像、緣上有座、獅牛之下、垂有結綵之狀、 And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
30 座各有銅輪四、銅軸四、座之四足、各有肩形、肩鑄於海下、其側有結綵之狀、 And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.
31 自肩至口、高一肘、其口乃圓、與座無異、廣一肘有半、口上有雕刻之形、其鑲版方而不圓、 And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.
32 四輪在鑲版下、輪軸與座相連、輪高各一肘有半、 And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
33 其輪之製如車輪、其軸、其環、其輻、其轂、俱以銅鑄之、 And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.
34 座之四隅、各有肩形、與座相連、 And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.
35 座上有緣、其形維圓、高半肘、座之斜柱及鑲版、俱與座同鑄、 And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
36 斜柱鑲版上、雕基路伯、及獅與椶樹、悉依其度而作、四周有結綵之狀、 For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
37 十座皆如是而製、其鎔鑄、度量、狀式、俱維一、 After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
38 又鑄銅盤十、各容四十罷特、其徑四肘、十座各置一盤、 Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
39 置座於室、左五右五、置海於室右、在東向南、 And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.
40 又製鼎鏟碗、戶蘭爲所羅門王、所作耶和華室之工、於是告竣、 And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the Lord:
41 卽柱二、及柱頂之球二、蓋頂球之網二、 The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
42 網上之石榴四百、網各二行、以蓋柱頂之球、 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
43 座十、及座上之十盤、 And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
44 銅海一、及其下之牛十二、 And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
45 鼎鏟碗、戶蘭爲所羅門王、所作耶和華室之器、俱以磨光之銅而製、 And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the Lord, were of bright brass.
46 在約但平原、疎割撒拉但間、膠土之地鑄之、 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
47 所作之器繁多、所羅門未權之、銅之輕重、不得而知、 And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
48 所羅門又作耶和華室所有器皿、卽金壇、及陳餅之金几、 And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,
49 內殿前之燈臺、左右各五、製以精金、其花、其燈、其鑷、俱以金製、 And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
50 其盂、其剪、其盌、其匙、其鼎、悉精金所製、內殿卽至聖所之門樞、與外殿之門樞、俱以金製、 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.
51 所羅門王爲耶和華室所作之工竣、攜父大衞所獻之金銀、及器皿、置於耶和華室中之府庫、 So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the Lord. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the Lord.
