1 以色列諸族長、千夫長、百夫長、以及有司、按其人數、分班事王、班各二萬四千人、在周歲之中、每月迭爲出入、 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2 正月首班、撒巴第業子雅朔班爲班長、其班二萬四千人、 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3 彼乃法勒斯裔、爲正月班諸軍長之首、 Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4 二月之班長、亞哈希人朵代、又有軍長密基羅副之、其班二萬四千人、 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5 三月三班之長、祭司耶何耶大子比拿雅、其班二萬四千人、 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6 比拿雅在三十勇士中爲最、而統轄之、其子暗米薩拔、亦在厥班、 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7 四月四班之長、約押弟亞撒黑、其子西巴第雅繼之、其班二萬四千人、 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8 五月五班之長、伊斯拉人珊合、其班二萬四千人、 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9 六月六班之長、提哥亞人、益吉子以拉、其班二萬四千人、 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10 七月七班之長、以法蓮族、比倫人希利斯、其班二萬四千人、 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
11 八月八班之長、謝拉族、戶沙人西比該、其班二萬四千人、 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
12 九月九班之長、便雅憫族、亞拿突人亞比以謝、其班二萬四千人、 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
13 十月十班之長、謝拉族、尼陀法人瑪哈萊、其班二萬四千人、 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
14 十一月十一班之長、以法蓮族、比拉頓人比拿雅、其班二萬四千人、 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15 十二月十二班之長、俄陀聶族、尼陀法人黑玳、其班二萬四千人、○ The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16 統轄以色列支派者如左、轄流便人者、細基利子以利以謝、轄西緬人者、瑪迦子示法提雅、 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17 轄利未人者、基母利子哈沙比雅、轄亞倫子孫者撒督、 Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18 轄猶大人者、大衞兄以利戶、轄以薩迦人者、米迦勒子暗利、 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19 轄西布倫人者、俄巴第雅子伊施瑪雅、轄拿弗他利人者、亞斯列子耶利摩、 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20 轄以法蓮人者、阿撒細雅子何細亞、轄瑪拿西半支派者、毘大雅子約珥、 Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21 轄居基列之瑪拿西半支派者、撒迦利雅子易多、轄便雅憫人者、押尼珥子雅西業、 Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22 轄但人者、耶羅罕子亞薩列、以上所載、皆以色列諸支派之長、 Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 以色列人二十歲以下者、大衞未核其數、蓋耶和華曾云、必增以色列人、如天星之多、 But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24 洗魯雅子約押始核之而未竟、且因此事震怒臨及以色列、其數不載入大衞王紀、○ Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 亞壘子押斯馬威掌王府庫、烏西雅子約拿單掌郊邑村堡之倉、 And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26 基綠子以斯利轄耕田之農人、 And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27 拉瑪人示每掌葡萄園、實弗米人撒巴底掌葡萄園之酒窖、 And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28 基第利人巴勒哈南掌平原之橄欖桑樹、約阿施掌油窖、 And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal–hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29 沙崙人施提賚掌牧於沙崙之牛羣、亞第賚子沙法掌牧於谷中之牛羣、 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30 以實瑪利人阿比勒掌駝羣、米崙人耶希底亞掌驢羣、夏甲人雅悉掌羊羣、 Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31 以上所載、皆掌大衞王之所有、○ And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32 大衞叔約拿單有聰慧、爲謀士、兼繕寫、哈摩尼子耶歇伴王諸子、 Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33 亞希多弗爲王謀士、亞基人戶篩爲王之友、 And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34 亞希多弗沒後、比拿雅子耶何耶大、及亞比亞他繼其職、約押爲王之軍長、 And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.
