| 1 | 瑪拿西支派掣籤而得其地、瑪拿西乃約瑟長子、瑪吉乃瑪拿西長子、基列之父、素爲戰士、故得基列、巴珊、 | There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the firstborn of Joseph; to wit, for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan. |

Therefore according to the commandment of the Lord he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. |

| 7 | 瑪拿西族之界、自亞設至示劍相對之密米他、轉右至隱他普亞居民之地、 | And the coast of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that lieth before Shechem; and the border went along on the right hand unto the inhabitants of En–tappuah. |
| 8 | 他普亞地、屬瑪拿西人、惟近其界之他普亞邑、屬以法蓮人、 | Now Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the children of Ephraim; |
| 9 | 其界下至加拿溪南、瑪拿西境內之邑、有屬以法蓮者、瑪拿西界、沿溪北、極於海、 | And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea: |
| 10 | 溪南屬以法蓮、溪北屬瑪拿西、海爲其界、北至亞設、東至以薩迦、 | Southward it was Ephraim’s, and northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east. |

| 12 | 斯邑之民、瑪拿西人不能逐之、迦南人執意居其地、 | Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land. |
| 13 | 迨以色列人強盛、使之服役、不盡逐之、○ | Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out. |
| 14 | 約瑟裔謂約書亞曰、耶和華旣錫嘏於我、使爲大族、何僅予我一區爲業、 | And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the Lord hath blessed me hitherto? |
| 15 | 約書亞曰、爾若爲大族、以法蓮山地狹小、可往比利洗利乏音地、伐木以居、 | And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. |
| 16 | 約瑟裔曰、此地不足容我、而居伯善與其鄉里、及耶斯列谷之迦南人、皆有鐵車、 | And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Beth–shean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel. |
| 17 | 約書亞謂約瑟家以法蓮瑪拿西人曰、爾乃大族、且有大力、不可僅有一區、 | And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: |
| 18 | 山與附近之地、必悉歸爾、雖爲森林、可伐其木而居、迦南人雖強、而有鐵車、爾必逐之、 | But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong. |
