1 約書亞壽高年邁、耶和華諭之曰、爾壽高年邁、當取之地、尚存甚多、 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
2 卽非利士四境、基述全地、 This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
3 自埃及東之西曷溪、北至以革倫界、屬迦南族之地、非利士五伯之迦薩、亞實突、亞實基倫、迦特、以革倫、及南方之亞衞、 From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
4 又迦南全地、屬西頓之米亞拉、至亞弗、及亞摩利界、 From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
5 又迦巴勒人之地、東方之利巴嫩全地、自黑門山麓之巴力迦得、至哈馬道、 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal–gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
6 又自利巴嫩、至米斯利弗瑪音、所有居山之西頓人、我必逐之於以色列人前、當循我命、籤分其地、予以色列人爲業、 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth–maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 斯地分與九支派、及瑪拿西半支派爲業、 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
8 瑪拿西半支派、及流便迦得二支派、已得其業於約但東、卽耶和華僕摩西所予者、 With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Lord gave them;
9 其地自亞嫩谷濱之亞羅珥、及谷中之邑、與米底巴平原全地、至於底本、 From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
10 曁都希實本之亞摩利王西宏諸邑、至亞捫族之界、 And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11 又有基列、與基述瑪迦二族之境、及黑門全山、巴珊全地、至於撒迦、 And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
12 都亞斯他錄及以得來、利乏音族所遺者、巴珊王噩之國、斯地之人、摩西擊而逐之、 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13 惟基述瑪迦二族、以色列人未逐、二族居以色列中、至於今日、 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
14 利未支派、摩西不與之業、奉以色列上帝耶和華之火祭爲其業、如其所諭、○ Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
15 摩西給業於流便支派、循其室家、 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.
16 其界自亞嫩谷濱之亞羅珥、及谷中之邑、沿米底巴平原、 And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
17 希實本與其平原諸邑、底本、巴末巴力、伯巴力勉、 Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth–baal, and Beth–baal–meon,
18 雅雜、基底莫、米法押、 And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 基列亭、西比瑪、與谷中山上之細列哈沙轄、 And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth–shahar in the mount of the valley,
20 伯毘珥、毘斯迦山麓、伯耶西末、 And Beth–peor, and Ashdoth–pisgah, and Beth–jeshimoth,
21 平原諸邑、與都希實本亞摩利王西宏之國、此王及其所轄米甸諸伯、以未、利金、蘇珥、戶珥、利巴、俱爲摩西所擊、 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
22 以色列人殺彼衆時、並以刃殺術士、比珥子巴蘭、 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
23 流便族之西界乃約但、以上諸邑、與其鄉里、爲流便族之業、循其室家、○ And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24 摩西給業於迦得支派、循其室家、 And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
25 其境乃雅謝基列諸邑、亞捫人地之半、至拉巴相對之亞羅珥、 And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26 又自希實本至拉抹米斯巴、及比多寧、更自瑪哈念至底璧界、 And from Heshbon unto Ramath–mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
27 谷中之伯亞蘭、伯寧拉、疎割、撒分、卽希實本王西宏國之餘地、沿約但河濱、至基尼烈海隅、在約但東、 And in the valley, Beth–aram, and Beth–nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
28 以上諸邑、與其鄉里、爲迦得族之業、循其室家、○ This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.
29 摩西給業於瑪拿西半支派、循其室家、 And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.
30 其境自瑪哈念、巴珊全地、卽巴珊王噩之全國、與巴珊境內、睚珥諸邑六十、 And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
31 基列之半、及巴珊王噩之邑、亞斯他錄以得來、俱歸瑪拿西子瑪吉裔之半、循其室家、○ And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
32 以上諸業、乃摩西在約但東、摩押平原、耶利哥相對之處所分者、 These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
33 惟利未支派、摩西不給以業、以色列之上帝耶和華爲其業、如其所諭、 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
