| 1 | 惟爾人子、當取利刃、用作薙刀、薙爾鬚髮、權輕重而分之、 | And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. |
| 2 | 待盈困城之日、取髮三分之一、焚於邑中、三分之一、以刃擊之、在邑四周、三分之一、散之於風、我亦拔刃襲之、 | Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. |
| 3 | 又當取髮少許、繫於爾襟、 | Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. |
| 4 | 此中復取少許、投於火而焚之、自此必有火出、及於以色列全家、○ | Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel. |
| 5 | 主耶和華曰、維此耶路撒冷、我置於列邦中、四周有國、 | Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. |
| 6 | 惟彼背我律例、行惡甚於列國、棄我典章、過於四周之國、蓋彼棄我律例、不守我典章也、 | And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. |
| 7 | 主耶和華曰、因爾紛擾、甚於四周之國、不守我典章、不遵我律例、亦不從四周列國之律例、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; |
| 8 | 故主耶和華曰、我爲爾敵、必行鞫於爾中、俾列國目覩、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. |
| 9 | 因爾可惡之事、我於爾中、必施行昔所未行者、後亦不復行之、 | And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. |
| 10 | 在爾境內、父將食其子、子將食其父、我必行鞫於爾、遺民散之四方、 | Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. |
| 11 | 主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、因爾以可憎之事、可惡之物、玷我聖所、我必轉目、不復顧惜、不加矜憫、 | Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity. |
| 12 | 爾民三分之一、必死於疫癘、亡於饑饉、在爾境內、三分之一、必隕於鋒刃、在爾四周、三分之一、我必散之四方、拔刃襲之、 | A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. |
| 13 | 如是、我怒始盡、我忿方息、我心斯慰、我旣洩忿於彼、必知我耶和華所言、因熱中而言之、 | Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. |
| 14 | 我必使爾荒蕪、爲四周列國所侮辱、經爾地者、咸目覩之、 | Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by. |
| 15 | 我發忿震怒、行鞫懲責於爾時、四周之國、以爲可辱可譏、可戒可異、我耶和華言之矣、 | So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the Lord have spoken it. |
| 16 | 我將降饑饉之毒矢、以行翦滅、增益饑饉、絕爾所恃之糧、 | When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: |
| 17 | 旣降饑饉、亦遣暴獸、俾爾孤獨、疫癘流血經於爾邦、兵刃臨於爾身、我耶和華言之矣、 | So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it. |
