| 1 | 彼謂我曰、人子歟、爾足其立、我將諭爾、 | And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. |
| 2 | 言時、其神入我、使我足立、聞諭我者曰、 | And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. |
| 3 | 人子歟、我遣爾詣以色列人、彼乃悖逆之邦、悖逆乎我、彼與列祖、獲罪於我、迄至今日、 | And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. |
| 4 | 其人顏厚心頑、我遣爾詣之曰、主耶和華有言告爾、 | For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. |
| 5 | 彼乃悖逆之家、或聽或否、必知有先知在其中、 | And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. |
| 6 | 惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、 | And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. |
| 7 | 彼悖逆特甚、其聽與否、爾必以我言告之、 | And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. |
| 8 | 惟爾人子、其聽我言、爾毋悖逆、若彼悖逆之家、當啟爾口、食我所賜、 | But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. |
| 9 | 我觀之、見有手向我而伸、手中有卷、 | And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; |
| 10 | 展於我前、內外皆有文字、其所錄者、哀號慘怛禍患、 | And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe. |
