| 1 | 願爾爲我兄弟、哺我母乳、遇爾於外、則可吻爾、無人輕視、 | O that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised. |
| 2 | 我必導爾、入我母家、受其訓誨、飲爾以香醪、卽我石榴之汁、 | I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother’s house, who would instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate. |
| 3 | 左手枕我首、右手抱我身、 | His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me. |
| 4 | 耶路撒冷諸女歟、我囑爾、勿挑撥愛情、待其自發、 | I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please. |
| 5 | 自野倚其所愛而來者、伊何人乎、在㰋果樹下、我曾寤爾、在彼、爾母劬勞而產爾、 | Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee. |
| 6 | 請爾懷我於心如印、置我於臂如章、愛情強若死亡、妒忌酷如陰府、所發若火、其焰甚烈、 | Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. |
| 7 | 惟此愛情、多水不能滅之、諸河不能沒之、人若傾家以易愛情、必見輕視、 | Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. |
| 8 | 我有小妹、尚未長乳、議婚之日、我將何爲、 | We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for? |
| 9 | 如彼爲城垣、則必爲之建銀樓、如彼爲門戶、則必闌之以柏板、 | If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar. |
| 10 | 我乃城垣、我乳若樓、彼則視我如得安焉、 | I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour. |
| 11 | 所羅門有葡萄園、在巴力哈們、租於守者、爲其果實、必納千金、 | Solomon had a vineyard at Baal–hamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver. |
| 12 | 我之葡萄園仍在我前、所羅門歟、爾可得其一千、守果者得二百、 | My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred. |
| 13 | 爾居園者、同儔欲聞爾聲、請使我聆之、 | Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it. |
| 14 | 我所愛者、爾其疾趨、如麞如鹿、在於芬芳之山、 | Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices. |
