| 1 | 諸女之美者歟、爾所愛者何往、爾所愛者、轉而歸於何所、我與汝共尋之、 | Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. |
| 2 | 我所愛者、乃入其園、至彼香花畦畔、牧羣羊於諸園、且採百合之花、 | My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. |
| 3 | 我所愛者屬我、我亦屬彼、彼牧羊於百合花間、 | I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies. |
| 4 | 我之嘉偶、爾美好如得撒、豔麗如耶路撒冷、威儀如張幟之軍、 | Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. |
| 5 | 爾目驚我、求爾轉盼、爾髮如山羊羣、臥於基列山麓、 | Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. |
| 6 | 齒如羣羊、上自浴沼、俱有雙生、無一喪子、 | Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them. |
| 7 | 額在帕內、見若裂榴、 | As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks. |
| 8 | 后妃六十、嬪嬙八十、侍女無數、 | There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. |
| 9 | 我鴿我完人、則惟一焉、其母所獨生、爲生之者所珍愛、衆女見之、稱其有福、后妃嬪嬙、亦加揄揚、 | My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. |
| 10 | 顯著如晨光、美如月、朗如日、威儀如張幟之軍、斯何人哉、 | Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? |
| 11 | 我下至胡桃園以觀谷中鮮綠之植物、而知葡萄萌芽否、石榴著花未、 | I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded. |
| 12 | 不意我心之欲、導我至民長之車間、 | Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. |
| 13 | 衆曰、書拉密女歟、歸哉歸哉、歸而使我觀汝、曰、何爲欲觀書拉密女如觀瑪哈念之舞蹈乎、 | Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies. |
