| 1 | 我儕轉由巴珊之道、巴珊王噩、率其民衆咸出、與我戰於以得來、 | Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. |
| 2 | 耶和華諭我曰、毋畏之、彼及其民與地、我悉付於爾手、爾待之、如昔待居希實本之亞摩利王西宏然、 | And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. |
| 3 | 於是我上帝耶和華、以巴珊王噩及其民、付於我手、我擊之、至無所遺、 | So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. |
| 4 | 取其諸邑、無邑不爲我儕所得、邑凡六十、乃亞珥歌伯全境、卽噩之國巴珊也、 | And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. |
| 5 | 諸邑俱有高垣、與門及楗、此外無垣之鄉里甚衆、 | All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many. |
| 6 | 我滅其邑、殲厥居民、及其婦孺、如昔行於希實本王西宏者然、 | And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. |
| 7 | 惟彼牲畜、與邑中財物、爲我所得、 | But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves. |
| 8 | 當時我自約但東、亞摩利二王之手、取其土地、自亞嫩谷、至黑門山、 | And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon; |
| 9 | 黑門山、西頓人稱爲西連、亞摩利人稱爲示尼珥、 | (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;) |
| 10 | 其平原諸邑、基列全地、巴珊全地、以及撒迦與以得來、乃噩之國、巴珊之邑、悉爲我取、 | All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan. |
| 11 | 利乏音族所存者、惟巴珊王噩、其床以鐵爲之、長九肘、廣四肘、以人肘爲度、今在亞捫人之拉巴邑、 | For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man. |
| 12 | 時、我儕旣得斯土、自亞嫩谷濱之亞羅珥、及基列山之半、與其諸邑、我以之予流便族、迦得族、 | And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites. |
| 13 | 基列餘地、及噩之國巴珊全地、亞珥歌伯四境、我以之予瑪拿西支派之半、巴珊昔稱爲利乏音地、 | And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants. |
| 14 | 瑪拿西裔睚珥、得亞珥歌伯四境、至基述瑪迦二族之界、依其名、稱巴珊爲哈倭特睚珥、以至今日、 | Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashan–havoth–jair, unto this day. |
| 15 | 我以基列予瑪吉、 | And I gave Gilead unto Machir. |
| 16 | 自基列至亞嫩谷、以谷中爲界、抵亞捫界之雅博溪、 | And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon; |
| 17 | 及亞拉巴、沿約但河之地、自基尼列、至亞拉巴之鹽海、並毘斯迦山麓以東之地、悉以予流便族、迦得族、○ | The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdoth–pisgah eastward. |
| 18 | 時、我命爾曰、爾上帝耶和華、旣以斯土錫爾爲業、爾之勇士、必皆執兵、先爾兄弟以色列人而往、 | And I commanded you at that time, saying, The Lord your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war. |
| 19 | 我知爾牲畜衆多、爾之妻孥牲畜、可留於我予爾之邑、 | But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you; |
| 20 | 迨爾兄弟於約但西、得爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、而享安息、與爾無異、後則返我予爾爲業之地、 | Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you. |
| 21 | 我又命約書亞曰、爾上帝耶和華所行於二王者、爾悉目擊、今爾所往諸國、耶和華亦如是待之、 | And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest. |
| 22 | 毋畏之、蓋爲爾戰者、爾上帝耶和華也、○ | Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you. |
| 23 | 時、我祈耶和華曰、 | And I besought the Lord at that time, saying, |
| 24 | 主耶和華歟、爾以大威大能、顯示爾僕、在天在地、尚有何神、能爲爾所爲、行爾所行大能之事乎、 | O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? |
| 25 | 求爾容我渡約但、觀河西之美地佳山、及利巴嫩、 | I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. |
| 26 | 惟耶和華緣爾曹故怒我、不允我所求、諭我曰、如是足矣、勿以此事、再言於我、 | But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter. |
| 27 | 爾可登毘斯迦巔、向東西南北而瞻望、以目觀之、不得渡約但、 | Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. |
| 28 | 當命約書亞、勗之壯之、因其必率斯民而渡、俾承爾所將見之地、 | But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see. |
| 29 | 我儕遂居伯毘珥相對之谷中、 | So we abode in the valley over against Beth–peor. |
