| 1 | 耶和華爲我光、我之拯救、吾其誰懼兮、耶和華爲我生命之保障、吾其誰惕兮、 | The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? |
| 2 | 惟彼惡人、我仇我敵、進攻欲食我肉、咸躓而顚兮、 | When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. |
| 3 | 軍旅雖對我列營、我心不怯兮、戰端興起、迫及我躬、我仍安貼兮、 | Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. |
| 4 | 我曾求耶和華一事、今仍祈之、畢生居耶和華室、瞻其榮美、思維其殿兮、 | One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. |
| 5 | 我遘難時、彼必暗衞我於帷中、匿我於幕之隱處、舉我於磐石之上兮、 | For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. |
| 6 | 今我昂首、高於環我之敵兮、在主幕中、獻歡欣之祭、我必謳歌、頌讚耶和華兮、○ | And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. |
| 7 | 耶和華歟、我揚聲呼籲、尚其垂聽、施憐而應之兮、 | Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. |
| 8 | 爾云余面是尋、我心對曰、耶和華歟、我必爾面是尋兮、 | When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. |
| 9 | 勿向我掩面、勿怒逐爾僕、救我之上帝歟、爾素助我、願勿棄我遺我兮、 | Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. |
| 10 | 父母遺我、耶和華則納我兮、 | When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. |
| 11 | 耶和華歟、示我以爾道、因我敵故、導我於坦途兮、 | Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. |
| 12 | 妄證之人、與出言兇暴者、起而攻我、勿付我於仇讐、以遂其願兮、 | Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. |
| 13 | 我在生命之境、得見耶和華之恩、若不信此、我則喪膽兮、 | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
| 14 | 爾其企望耶和華、壯乃志、強乃心、以企望耶和華兮、 | Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. |
