| 1 | 耶和華歟、大衞之難、尚其記憶兮、 | Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: |
| 2 | 彼如何發誓於耶和華、許願於雅各之能者、 | How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; |
| 3 | 曰、我必不入我幕、不登我牀、 | Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; |
| 4 | 不任我目寢睡、合睫而眠兮、 | I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, |
| 5 | 俟我爲耶和華尋獲居所、爲雅各之能者、尋獲帷幕兮、 | Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. |
| 6 | 我聞約匱在以法他、遇之於林野兮、 | Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. |
| 7 | 我儕入其帷幕、拜於足几之下兮、 | We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. |
| 8 | 耶和華歟、尚其興起、與爾力之約匱、同入安居之所兮、 | Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. |
| 9 | 願爾之祭司衣義、爾之聖民歡呼兮、 | Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. |
| 10 | 緣爾僕大衞故、勿使爾受膏者轉面兮、 | For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. |
| 11 | 耶和華以誠誓於大衞、必不反覆、曰我必使爾所生者、居爾位兮、 | The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. |
| 12 | 爾子若守我約、與我所訓之法、厥子亦必永居其位、 | If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. |
| 13 | 蓋耶和華簡郇、欲以爲居所兮、 | For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. |
| 14 | 曰、此我永久安居之所、我必處此、以其爲我所悅兮、 | This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. |
| 15 | 我必錫嘏其糧、以食飫其貧民兮、 | I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. |
| 16 | 必以拯救被其祭司、聖民大聲歡呼兮、 | I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. |
| 17 | 必爲大衞生角、爲我受膏者備燈兮、 | There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. |
| 18 | 必使其敵蒙羞、彼之冠冕、光輝發越兮、 | His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish. |
