| 1 | 是日必有源泉、爲大衞家、及耶路撒冷居民而闢、以去罪戾汚穢、 | In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. |
| 2 | 萬軍之耶和華曰、當是日、我必絕偶像之名於斯土、不復見憶、亦使先知與邪鬼出斯土、 | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. |
| 3 | 如有人預言、則生之之父母、必謂之曰、爾託耶和華名而言誑、必不得生、彼預言時、生之之父母、必刺而穿之、 | And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. |
| 4 | 是日先知預言者、必因所見之異象而羞愧、不復衣毛服以欺人、 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: |
| 5 | 乃曰、我非先知、乃農夫耳、自幼爲奴、 | But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. |
| 6 | 或謂之曰、爾兩肩之間何傷也、曰、我在友人之家、所受之傷也、○ | And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. |
| 7 | 萬軍之耶和華曰、鋒刃歟、其起擊我牧者、與我同儔、其擊牧者、散厥羣羊、惟彼小子、我將反手加之、 | Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. |
| 8 | 耶和華曰、四境之內、三分之二、將見絕滅而亡、三分之一、必得存留、 | And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. |
| 9 | 其三分之一、我將使之經火、煉之若銀、煆之若金、彼必呼籲我名、而我應之、我則曰、彼爲我民、彼則曰、耶和華乃我上帝也、 | And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God. |
