| 1 | 耶和華諭摩西曰、 | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 | 告亞倫云、燃燈之時、宜使七盞明耀於臺前、 | Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick. |
| 3 | 亞倫遵耶和華所諭摩西之命而行、燃燈明耀於臺前、 | And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 4 | 燈臺以金爲之、自座及花、悉用鏇法而造、遵耶和華所示摩西之式、○ | And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the Lord had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick. |

| 6 | 於以色列族中、取利未人潔之、 | Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them. |
| 7 | 潔禮如左、以贖罪之水灑之、使以薙刀、薙其全體、濯衣潔身、 | And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. |
| 8 | 取牡犢爲燔祭、和油之細麪爲素祭、又取牡犢一、爲贖罪祭、 | Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering. |
| 9 | 攜利未人至會幕前、集以色列會衆、 | And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together: |
| 10 | 旣引利未人於耶和華前、使以色列人按手其首、 | And thou shalt bring the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites: |
| 11 | 亞倫奉利未人於耶和華、爲以色列族獻之、以爲搖祭、供耶和華之役事、 | And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the Lord for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the Lord. |
| 12 | 利未人按手於二犢之首、爾則獻之、一爲贖罪祭、一爲燔祭、奉於耶和華、以贖其罪、 | And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the Lord, to make an atonement for the Levites. |
| 13 | 使利未人立於亞倫及其子前、奉於耶和華、以爲搖祭、 | And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the Lord. |
| 14 | 如是區別利未人於以色列族、使之歸我、 | Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine. |
| 15 | 厥後利未人必入會幕、供其役事、爾必潔之、奉爲搖祭、 | And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering. |
| 16 | 蓋利未人悉歸於我、我取其人、代以色列族初胎之男、使爲我有、 | For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me. |
| 17 | 以色列族諸首生者、或人或畜、咸爲我有、我戮埃及首生者時、區別之以歸我、 | For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself. |
| 18 | 我取利未人、以代以色列族初胎之男、 | And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel. |
| 19 | 亦取之、以賜亞倫及其子、於會幕中、爲以色列族供其役事、代之贖罪、免以色列族近於聖所、而遭災禍、 | And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. |
| 20 | 摩西亞倫曁以色列會衆、如是待利未人、悉遵耶和華命、 | And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them. |
| 21 | 利未人去罪爲潔、洗濯其衣、亞倫奉於耶和華、以爲搖祭、代爲贖罪、使之成潔、 | And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the Lord; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them. |
| 22 | 厥後利未人入會幕、於亞倫及其子前、以供役事、耶和華指利未人、所諭摩西者、以色列人悉遵行之、○ | And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them. |
| 23 | 耶和華諭摩西曰、 | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 24 | 利未人供役事、有定例焉、自二十五歲以上、可入會幕、以供役事、 | This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: |
| 25 | 至於五十、乃罷其役、 | And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more: |
| 26 | 偕其兄弟同守會幕、毋再役事、其例若此、 | But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge. |
