1 耶穌復入會堂、有枯一手者在焉、 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
2 衆窺其於安息日醫之否、意欲訟之、 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3 耶穌謂手枯者曰、起、立於中、 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
4 語衆曰、安息日行善行惡、救生殺生、孰宜、衆默然、 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5 耶穌怒而環視之、憂其心頑也、語手枯者曰、伸爾手、伸之、卽愈、 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
6 法利賽人出、與希律黨謀、何以滅之、○ And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
7 耶穌偕其徒退往海濱、羣衆自加利利從之、 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judea,
8 猶太耶路撒冷以土買約但外、及推羅西頓四境之人、聞其所行、就之者亦甚衆、 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
9 耶穌因命其徒具小舟以待、俾免擁擠、 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
10 蓋耶穌曾醫多人、致凡病痛者、逼近欲捫之、 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11 邪鬼見之、伏其前、呼曰、爾乃上帝子也、 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
12 耶穌嚴戒毋揚、○ And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
13 遂登山、隨所欲以召人、而人就之、 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14 立十有二人偕己、遣之宣教、 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15 且予以逐鬼之權、 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16 有若西門、耶穌名之曰彼得、 And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17 西庇太之子雅各、與其弟約翰、此二人者、名之曰半尼其、卽雷子也、 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
18 又有安得烈、腓力、巴多羅買、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓之子雅各、又達太、與加那尼人西門、 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 並加畧人猶大、卽賣師者、○ And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
20 耶穌入室、衆復集、致弗能食、 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 其親屬聞而出、欲執之、曰、彼狂矣、 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
22 自耶路撒冷而來之士子、曰、彼有別西卜、又曰、彼藉鬼王逐鬼耳、 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
23 耶穌呼之來、以喻謂之曰、撒但安能逐撒但乎、 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 夫國自相分爭、其國弗能立、 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 家自相分爭、其家弗能立、 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 若撒但分裂、起而自攻、亦弗能立、終必滅耳、 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 未有能入勇士之室、刧其器用者、必先縛勇士、而後刧其室也、 No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
28 我誠語汝、世人之諸罪、及凡所出褻凟之言、皆將得赦、 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 惟褻凟聖神者、終不得赦、乃干永罪、 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
30 斯言也、因人謂其有邪鬼也、○ Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
31 耶穌之母及其兄弟至、立於外、遣人呼之、 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 衆環坐、謂之曰、爾母及兄弟在外覓爾、 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33 耶穌曰、孰爲我母我兄弟乎、 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34 遂四顧環坐者曰、試視我母我兄弟、 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 蓋凡行上帝旨者、卽我兄弟姊妹及母也、 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
