| 1 | 亞倫子拿答亞比戶、各取己鼎、置火與香、以獻耶和華、然所獻者、乃不聖之火、非耶和華所命、 | And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. |
| 2 | 火自耶和華前而出、焚燬二人、死於耶和華前、 | And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. |
| 3 | 摩西謂亞倫曰、此乃耶和華所諭云、近我者必以我爲聖、我在民前、必得其榮、亞倫默然、 | Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. |

| 6 | 摩西諭亞倫、及其子以利亞撒以他瑪曰、毋披爾髮、毋裂爾衣、免爾死亡、並免耶和華怒及會衆、惟爾之兄弟以色列全家、可爲耶和華所燃之火哀悼、 | And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lord hath kindled. |
| 7 | 爾曹毋出會幕、免爾死亡、蓋耶和華之膏在爾身、乃遵摩西之命而行、○ | And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses. |

| 9 | 爾與爾子入會幕時、清酒醇醪勿飲、免爾死亡、此爲永例、歷世弗替、 | Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: |
| 10 | 俾爾得以區別聖與不聖、潔與不潔、 | And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; |
| 11 | 且以耶和華所諭摩西之典章、訓迪以色列族、○ | And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses. |
| 12 | 摩西諭亞倫、及其尚存之子以利亞撒以他瑪曰、獻耶和華之火祭中、素祭之餘、乃爲至聖、當食於壇旁、毋置酵、 | And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy: |
| 13 | 必在聖地食之、獻耶和華之火祭中、此爲爾及子孫所應得、我所奉之命如此、 | And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire: for so I am commanded. |
| 14 | 所搖之腔、所舉之腿、爾及子女必在潔地食之、以色列族所獻酬恩之祭、此爲爾及子孫所應得、 | And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel. |
| 15 | 人獻脂爲火祭、當與所舉之腿、所搖之腔同獻、搖於耶和華前、以爲搖祭、後則歸爾、及爾子孫得之、著爲永例、循耶和華所命、○ | The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the Lord; and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for ever; as the Lord hath commanded. |
| 16 | 贖罪之山羊、摩西索之、知已燔矣、則怒亞倫二子以利亞撒以他瑪、 | And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying, |
| 17 | 曰、贖罪之牲、旣爲至聖、曷不食之於聖所、蓋上帝賜之於爾、以任民愆、代爲贖罪於耶和華前、 | Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord? |
| 18 | 其血未入聖所、固當食牲於聖地、循我所命、 | Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded. |
| 19 | 亞倫對曰、今日彼獻贖罪祭與燔祭於耶和華前、我遭斯事、如食贖罪之牲、豈見悅於耶和華乎、 | And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord? |
| 20 | 摩西聞是言而善之、 | And when Moses heard that, he was content. |
