| 1 | 斯時也、護衞爾民之大君米迦勒將興、亦有大難、自有國以來、迄於是日、未之有也、其時爾民之中、凡名錄於册者、必蒙拯救、 | And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. |
| 2 | 長眠於塵土者、多有復醒、得永生者有之、蒙羞而受永辱者有之、 | And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. |
| 3 | 智者輝煌、若穹蒼之光耀、使多人歸義者、若星宿之明朗、永久弗替、 | And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. |
| 4 | 但以理歟、爾其封此言、鈐此書、以待末期、將有多人往來、世人增其識見、○ | But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. |
| 5 | 我但以理視之、見又有二使、一立河之此岸、一立河之彼岸、 | Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. |
| 6 | 其一問河上衣枲衣者曰、此奇異之事、何時始畢、 | And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? |
| 7 | 我聞河上衣枲衣者、向天舉左右手、指永生者而誓曰、必歷一載二載半載、迨摧聖民之權已盡、則諸事畢焉、 | And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. |
| 8 | 我聞而不悟、則曰、我主歟、此事之終局若何、 | And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? |
| 9 | 曰、但以理歟、爾其往哉、因斯言封而鈐之、以俟末期、 | And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. |
| 10 | 將有多人自潔而白、以得試鍊、惟惡人仍行惡、惡者不悟此、智者則悟焉、 | Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. |
| 11 | 自去日獻之祭、置殘賊可惡之物時、必歷一千二百九十日、 | And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. |
| 12 | 凡待至一千三百三十五日者、其人福矣、 | Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. |
| 13 | 爾其往哉、以待終期、爾將安息、末日旣屆、立於爾業、 | But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. |
