1 從撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、及耶書亞、而歸之祭司利未人、有西萊雅、耶利米、以斯拉、 Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 亞瑪利雅、瑪鹿、哈突、 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 示迦尼、利宏、米利末、 Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 易多、近頓、亞比雅、 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah,
5 米雅民、瑪底雅、璧迦、 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 示瑪雅、約雅立、耶大雅、 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 撒路、亞木、希勒家、耶大雅、以上所載、當耶書亞時、爲祭司及其同宗之長、 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8 利未人有耶書亞、賓內、甲篾、示利比、猶大、瑪他尼、瑪他尼與其同宗、司稱謝之事、 Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.
9 其同宗八布迦、烏尼、依其班列、與彼相對、 Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them in the watches.
10 耶書亞生約雅金、約雅金生以利亞實、以利亞實生耶何耶大、 And Jeshua begat Joiakim, Joiakim also begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,
11 耶何耶大生約拿單、約拿單生押杜亞、 And Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.
12 當約雅斤時、祭司爲族長者、有西萊雅班米拉雅、耶利米班哈拿尼雅、 And in the days of Joiakim were priests, the chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 以斯拉班米書蘭、亞瑪利雅班約哈難、 Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 米利古班約拿單、示巴尼班約瑟、 Of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 哈琳班押拿、米拉約班希勒愷、 Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 易多班撒迦利亞、近頓班米書蘭、 Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 亞比雅班細基利、米拿民班某、摩亞底班毘勒太、 Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 璧迦班沙母亞、示瑪雅班約拿單、 Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 約雅立班瑪特乃、耶大雅班烏西、 And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 撒來班加萊、亞木班希伯、 Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 希勒家班哈沙比雅、耶大雅班拿坦業、 Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 當以利亞實、耶何耶大、約哈難、押杜亞時、利未人之族長、俱載於册、當波斯王大利烏時、祭司爲族長者、亦載於册、 The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 利未人之族長、載於歷代志、至以利亞實子約哈難時、 The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 利未人之族長、乃哈沙比雅、示利比、甲篾子耶書亞、與相向而立之同宗、班列相對、頌讚稱謝、循上帝僕大衞所命、 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25 瑪他尼、八布迦、俄巴底亞、米書蘭、達們、亞谷、咸爲閽人、守門於庫、 Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.
26 以上所載、俱在約撒達孫、耶書亞子約雅金、方伯尼希米、文士祭司以斯拉時、○ These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 耶路撒冷邑垣告成、遂覓散處之利未人、招至耶路撒冷、欣然稱謝、謳歌擊鈸、鳴琴鼓瑟、而行奉獻之禮、 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28 謳歌者、自耶路撒冷畿甸、與尼陀法人之鄉里、 And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;
29 又自伯吉甲、及迦巴押瑪弗之田畝、咸集、蓋謳歌者、已建鄉里於耶路撒冷四周、 Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
30 祭司利未人自潔、亦潔其民、與邑門城垣、 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 我導猶大牧伯登城垣、使稱謝者二班、列隊而行、一班從右往糞場門、 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
32 從之者何沙雅、及猶大牧伯之半、 And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 亞撒利雅、以斯拉、米書蘭、 And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 猶大、便雅憫、示瑪雅、耶利米、 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 祭司之子數人執角、卽約拿單子撒迦利亞、約拿單乃示瑪雅子、示瑪雅乃瑪他尼子、瑪他尼乃米該亞子、米該亞乃撒刻子、撒刻乃亞薩子、 And certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
36 及其同宗示瑪雅、亞撒利、米拉萊、基拉萊、瑪艾、拿坦業、猶大、哈拿尼、咸執上帝僕大衞之樂器、文士以斯拉爲其先導、 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.
37 由泉門而前、升大衞城之階、在大衞宮之上、東至水門、 And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38 一班從左而往、欲與彼班相遇、我率民衆之半、隨之於垣、過爐樓、至廣垣、 And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39 由以法蓮門之上、經古門、魚門、哈楠業樓、哈米亞樓、至於羊門、止於獄門、 And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
40 於是稱謝者二班、與我及民長之半、立於上帝室中、 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
41 祭司以利亞金、瑪西雅、米拿民、米該雅、以利約乃、撒迦利亞、哈楠尼亞、俱執角、 And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 又有瑪西雅、示瑪雅、以利亞撒、烏西、約哈難、瑪基雅、以攔、以謝、謳歌者大聲謳歌、伊斯拉希雅爲其督、 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 是日民獻大祭、喜樂不勝、蓋上帝使之懽忻、婦孺亦悅、耶路撒冷歡聲、聞於遠處、○ Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 是日立人司庫、以貯舉祭、初熟之品、什一之供、收由諸邑之田、祭司利未人所當得者、如律所定、蓋猶大人爲供役之祭司利未人而樂也、 And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
45 其人供上帝之事、與清潔之役、謳歌者、司閽者、亦然、循大衞及其子所羅門之命、 And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46 昔在大衞亞薩時、有謳歌者之長、與頌讚稱謝上帝之詩、 For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47 今在所羅巴伯尼希米時、以色列衆於謳歌者、司閽者、日給所需、以所區別者奉利未人、利未人以所區別者奉亞倫裔、 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
