| 3 | Ayo nae si Judas ma�ule y inetnon sendalo, yan y ofisiat sija ni manmagas na mamale yan y Fariseo, mamalag ayo na lugat, manma�u�ule falot, yan candet, yan atmas. | Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. |

| 5 | Inepe�ija: Si Jesus Nasareno. Si Jesus ileg�a nu sija: Guajo yo. Gaegue g�ije locue ma�isija yan Judas y umentrega g�e. | They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. |

| 11 | Enao mina si Jesus eleg�a as Pedro: Na jalom y espadamo gui baena; y copa ni janaeyo si tata, ada taya para juguimen? | Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? |
| 12 | Ayo na tiempo y inetnon sendalo, yan y magas sendalo, yan y ofisiat y Judio sija, macone si Jesus ya magode. | Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, |
| 13 | Ya finenana machule guato as Annas; sa g�iya y suegron Caefas, na magasja na pale g�ije na a�o. | And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. |
| 14 | Ya si Caefas manae consejo ni y Judio sija, na janesisita un taotao para umatae pot y taotao sija. | Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. |
| 15 | � Ya madalalag si Jesus si Simon Pedro, taeg�enao yan otro disipulo. Ya ayo y otro disipulo atungo y magas na pale; ya jumalom yan si Jesus; gui quelat y palasyon y magas na pale. | And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. |

Entonses ayo y otro disipulo ni y atungo y magas na pale jumuyong, ya jasangane y pottera, ya janajalom si Pedro. | But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. |
| 17 | Entonses ayo na palaoan ni y jaadaje y petta ileg�a as Pedro: Ti jago locue disipulon este na taotao? G�iya ileg�a: Aje, ti guajo. | Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not. |
| 18 | Mangaegue g�ije y tentago sija yan y ofisiat, sija, manotojgue, ya jafatinas y guafin pinigan; sa manenggeng; ya janafanmamaepe sija: ya esta tomotojgue ma�isija yan Pedro janamamaepe g�e. | And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. |
| 19 | � Ya y magas na pale jafaesen si Jesus jaftaemano y disipulu�a yan y doctrina�a. | The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. |
| 20 | Inepe�a si Jesus: Guajo sumangan claro gui tano; guajo siempre mamanag�e guiya sinagogo yan y templo anae manetnon todo y Judio sija; ya taya jucuentuse gui secreto. | Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. |
| 21 | Sajafa mina unfafaesen yo? Faesen y manmanjungog ni y jusangane sija. Estag�e, sija y tumungo y sinanganjo. | Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. |
| 22 | Ya anae g�iya esta sumangan este, uno gui ofisiat sija na mangaegue g�ije, japatmada si Jesus ya ileg�a: Taeg�enao unope y magas na pale? | And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? |
| 23 | Ynepe g�e as Jesus: Yaguin jusangan taelaye, nae testimonio nu y taelaye; yaguin mauleg, pot jafa mina innachinudan yo? | Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? |
| 24 | Ayo nae si Annas ninamacone g�e mangode para as Caefas, magas na pale. | Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. |
| 25 | � Ayo nae si Simon Pedro estaba tomotojgue janamamaepe g�e. Entonses ileg�ija nu g�iya: Ada ti g�iya jao uno gui disipulu�a? G�iya mandague ya ileg�a: Ti guajo yo. | And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not. |
| 26 | Uno gui tentagon magas na pale, parientes ayo y jautut si Pedro y talaga�a, ya sinangane: Ti julie jao gui g�etta yan g�iya? | One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him? |
| 27 | Luego mandague talo si Pedro. Y enseguidas y gayo umoo. | Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. |
| 28 | � Ayo nae macone si Jesus g�ine as Caefas gui jalom palasyo: ya ogaan g�ije; ya sija ti manjalom gui palasyo, pot no sea infanninaale, lao para usi�a ma�ocho gui pascua. | Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. |
| 29 | Entonses mapos juyong si Pilato guiya sija ya ileg�a: Jafa na finaaela inchichile contra este na taotao? | Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? |

The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: |

| 33 | � Entonses si Pilato tumalo jumalom gui palasyo ya jaagang si Jesus ya ileg�a nu g�iya: Jago jao y Ray Judio sija? | Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? |
| 34 | Ynepe as Jesus: Unsasangan este pot jagoja namaesa, pat otro sija sumangangane jao pot guajo? | Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? |
| 35 | Si Pilato manope: Guajo Judio yo? Nasionmo, ya y manmagas na mamale, maentrega yo nu jago: Jafa finatinasmo? | Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? |
| 36 | Ynepe as Jesus: Y raenoco, ti ujuyong gui sanjilo este na tano: Yaguin y raenoco ujuyong gui sanjilo este na tano, y tentagojo sija ufanmumo, pot guajo, ya ti jumaentrega gui Judio sija: lao pago y raenoco ti ujuyong g�ine. | Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. |

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. |
