|---|---|---|
| Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
| Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?
Dichoso ayo sija y umadadaje y juisio, yan ayo y fumatitinas y tininas todo y tiempo. | Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Jasoyo, O Jeova, nu y finaborese ni y unnae y taotaomo; O bisitayo nu y satbasionmo; | Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
Para jusia lumie y minauleg gui inayegmo, para jusia mumagof gui minagof y nasionmo, para jusia mumalag gui erensiamo. | That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
Guinin manisaojam yan y tatanmame, infatinas y tinaelaye yan inchege y inechong. | We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
Y tatanmame ti jatungo y ninamanmanmo guiya Egipto; ti jajaso y manadan y minaasemo; lao manmanembeste gui tase, junggan gui Tasen Agaga. | Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
Lao jasatbaja sija pot y naana, para usia janamatungo y dangculon y ninasiaa. | Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
Jalalatde y Tasen Agaga locue yan janaanglo: lao jaesgaejon sija inanaco y todo gui tinadong, taegije todo inanaco y desierto. | He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
Yan janafanlibre sija guinin y canae ayo y chumatlie sija, yan jarescata sija guinin y canae y enimigo. | And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
| And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
Ayo nae jajonggue y sinangana sija; jacanta y tininaa. | Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
Ya guse manmalefa ni y chechoa: ti janangga y pinagata: | They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
Lao manmalago megae gui jalomtano, yan matienta si Yuus gui desierto. | But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
| And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
| They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.
Y tano mababa ya pinaot si Datan, yan mantinampe y mangachong Abirom. | The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
Yan y guafe manafaila gui mangachongija; ya y maila sumonggue y manaelaye. | And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
Ya manmamatinas tatnero guiya Horeb, yan maadora y diniriten y imagen. | They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
| Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
Manmalefa as Yuus ni y satbadotija, ni y fumatinas y mandangculo na ginaja guiya Egipto; | They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
Mannamanman na checho gui tano Cam, yan mannamaaao na ginaja gui Tasen Agaga. | Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
| Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
| Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
Lao mangonggong gui sa tiendaja; ya ti jaecungog y inagang Jeova. | But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
Enao mina jajatsa y canaea contra sija; para uyute sija gui jalom y desierto: | Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
Para uyute y semiyaija locue gui nasion sija, yan para uchalapon sija gui jalom y tano sija. | To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
Ya mandaa sija gui Baal-peor; ya jacano y inefresen y manmatae. | They joined themselves also unto Baal–peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
Taegine sija mannalalalo ge nu y chechoija: ya derepente mato gui jiloija sija chetnot. | Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
Ya janatojgue julo si Finees, ya jafatinas y juisio: ya y chetnot pumara. | Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
| And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
| They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
Sa sija chumoma y espiritua; sa jasangan sin jinaso pot labiosa. | Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
| They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:
Lao mandaa sija yan y nasion sija, yan jaeyag y chechoija: | But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
| And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
Magajet na jaofrese y lajeija yan y jagaija gui anite, | Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
Yan jachuda y jg y manaeisao, magajet na y jg y lajeija yan y jagaija ni jaofrese gui idolos guiya Cananea: yan y tano ni y ninaplacha ni y jg. | And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
| Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
| Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
Ya janae nu sija gui canae y nasion sija; yan ayo y chumatlie sija janafanmagas gui jiloija. | And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
Ya y enimigoija locue chumiguet sija, yan sija chumule asta y jalom inesgue gui papa y canaeija. | Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
Megae na biaje nae janafanlibre sija; lao sija maembeste ge ni y pinagatija, yan manmachile papa gui tatpapa ni y tinaelayeija. | Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
Lao jaatan y pinitiija, anae jajungog y inagangija. | Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
Ya jajaso para sija y tratua, yan ninafanmaotsot segn y minegae y minaasea. | And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
Janafangaease locue ni ayo y cumone sija preso. | He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
Nafanlibrejam, O Jeova, Yuusmame, yan nafandaajam gui entalo y nasion sija, para unae grasias y santos na naanmo, yan ufangana gui alabansamo. | Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
Amen. Alaba jamyo si Jeova. | Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.
