1 YA si Saulo jaconsiente gui finatae�a. Ya ayo ni tiempo, guaja dangculon pinetsigue contra y iglesia guiya Jerusalem; ya todo sija, ni ti apostoles, manmachalapon gui tano Judea, yan Samaria; And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2 Ya y mandeboto na taotao, macatga si Esteban para umajafot, ya dangculo inigung�ija pot g�iya. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3 Ya si Saulo jayulang y inetnon mangilisyano, ya jumalom gui cada guma, ya jabatatangga y lalaje yan y famalaoan para ufanmapreso. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Enaomina ayo sija y manmachalapon, manjanao para todo y lugat, ya japredidica y sinangan. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Ayonae si Felipe mapos papa gui siuda Samaria, ya japredica guiya sija si Cristo. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 Ya y linajyan taotao sija, manunoja, ya maatituye ayo sija y sinangan Felipe, anae malie yan majungog y se�at ni y finatinas�a. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 Sa megae y man�placha na espiritu, manaagang ni y dangculo na inagang, yan manjujuyong g�ije todo gui anae ma�asaga; yan megae na manparalitico, yan mancojo, manafanjomlo. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 Ya guaja un dangculon minagof g�ije na siuda. And there was great joy in that city.
9 � Lao guaja un taotao g�ije na siuda, na y naan�a si Simon; ya antes ni tiempo, jaencanta yan jafababa y taotao sija ni y magica�a guiya Samaria, japolo g�e na g�iya uno dangculo. But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
10 Ya todo umatituye, desde y diquique asta y dangculo, ileg�ija: Este na taotao, y dangculo na ninasi�an Yuus. To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
11 Ya mantituye, sa apmam na tiempo na numamanman ni y magica�a. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
12 Lao anae manmanjonggue as Felipe ni y japredica y ebangelio y raenon Yuus, yan y naan Jesucristo, manmatagpange todo, lalaje yan famalaoan. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Ya si Simon manjonggue locue; ya anae matagpange, sumisijaja yan Felipe, ya ninamanman anae jalie y milagro yan y se�at sija ni y manmafatinas. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 � Ya y apostoles, ni y manestataba Jerusalem anae majungog na iya Samaria jaresibe y sinangan Yuus, matago guato si Pedro yan si Juan; Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Ya anae manmato guato, jatayuyute sija, para ujaresibe y Espiritu Santo: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (Sa trabia ti tumutunog gui jilo una guiya sija; sa manmatagpangeja pot y naan y Se�ot Jesus). (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Ayonae japolo y canae�ija gui jilo�ija, ya maresibe y Espiritu Santo. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
18 Ya anae jalie si Simon na pot y japolo y canae�ija y apostoles, manmannae ni y Espiritu Santo, jaofrese sija salape, And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Ileg�a: Naeyo locue ni este na ninasi�a, ya masqueseaja jaye nae jupolo y canaejo, uresibe y Espiritu Santo. Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 Lao si Pedro, ileg�a nu g�iya: Y salapemo ufalingo yan jago, sa jinasomo na y ninaen Yuus mafafajan salape. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
21 Taya pattemo ni suertemo g�ine, sa y corasonmo ti tunas gui menan Yuus. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
22 Enaomina fa�otsot ni este y tinaelayemo, ya untayuyute si Yuus, yaguin si�a maasie jao ni y jinason y corasonmo. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
23 Sa julie na gaegue jao gui lalaet y minalaet, yan y guineden y tinaelaye. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
24 Ayonae manope si Simon, ya ileg�a: Tayuyuteyo gui Se�ot, ya cha�ija fanmafato guiya guajo ni uno gui este sija sinanganmiyo. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
25 � Enao mina sija, anae guinin janae testimonio yan jasangan y sinangan y Se�ot, manalo guato Jerusalem, y japredica y ebangelio gui megae na sengsong y taotao Samaria sija. And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
26 Ya y angjet y Se�ot jacuentuse si Felipe ileg�a: Cajulo, ya unjanao guato gui sanjaya gui chalan ni y jumajanao desde Jerusalem, asta Gasa ni y desierto. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
27 Ya cajulo, ya mapos; ya estag�e un taotao Etiopia na eunuco na gaeninasi�a na dangculo gui papa Candase raynan taotao Etiopia sija, ya g�iya encatgao todo ni y g�inajan y ray na, ya mato Jerusalem para ufanadora. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
28 Ya tumalo guato, ya matachong gui jilo y iyo�a carruaje ya jataetae y profeta Isaias. Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
29 Ya y Espiritu ileg�a as Felipe: Janao jijot ya unda�ae y carruaje. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
30 Ya malago guato guiya g�iya si Felipe, ya anae jajungog na jatataetae y profeta Isaias, ileg�a: Untungo jafa tinaetataemo? And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31 Ya ileg�a: Jafa taemano si�ayo yaguin taya fumanag�eyo? ya jagaogao na ucajulo ya ujasija matachong. And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
32 Ya y lugat gui Tinigue ni y jatataetae, taeg�ine: Macone taeg�ije y quinilo yaguin macone para umapuno; yan parejo yan y cotdero ni y ti cumecuentos gui menan y dumadasae, taeg�ejeja ti jabababa y pachot�a. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
33 Ya y inimitde�a nae y juisio�a munajanao; ya jaye usinangan claro y generasion�a? sa y lin�l�fia machule gui tano. In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
34 � Ya y eunuco jaope si Felipe ileg�a: Jutayuyut jao, jaye jasangangane y profeta ni este? g�iyaja, pat otro taotao? And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Ayonae jababa si Felipe y pachot�a, ya jatutujon gui este na tinigue sigue di mapredica g�e si Jesus. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 Ya mientras jumajanao gui jinanao�ija, manmato gui un janom; ya ileg�a y eunuco: Estag�e janom; jafa uchomayo para jumatagpange? And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 Ileg�a si Felipe: Yaguin unjonggue contodo y corasonmo, si�aja jao. Ya manope ileg�a: Jujonggue na si Jesucristo y Lajin Yuus. And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 Ya manago na umanasaga y carruaje; ya tumunog y dos gui jalom janom, si Felipe yan y eunuco; ya tinagpange g�e. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 Ya anae jumuyong guinin y janom, quinene si Felipe ni y Espiritun y Se�ot, ya ti linie ni y eunuco mas, lao jasigue y jinanao�a sumenmagof. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 Lao si Felipe esta masoda guiya Asoto; ya malofan inanaco todo manpredidica ebangelio gui siuda todos, asta qui mato g�e guiya Sesarea. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cesarea.
