| 2 | Y raenon langet, parejo yan un ray, na jafatinas gupot umasagua para y laji�a. | The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, |
| 3 | Ya jatago y tentago�a sija, na ujaagange y manmaconbida gui guipot; lao ti manmalago manmato. | And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. |
| 4 | Jatago talo palo tentago�a, ileg�a: Sangane y manmaconbida: Esta jufamauleg y na taloane, y gajo toro yan y manyomog na gajo, esta manmapuno, ya todo esta listo: fanmamaela gui guipot umasagua. | Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. |
| 5 | Lao sija ti jaatituye, ya manmapos, y uno para y fangualua�a, y otro para y cometsio�a. | But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: |
| 6 | Y palo macone y tentago�a ya manamamajlao, ya manmapuno. | And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. |
| 7 | Lao y ray ninalalalo; ya jatago y sendalu�a sija na ujapuno todo ayo y mamuno sija, ya ujasonggue y siuda�a. | But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. |
| 8 | Ayo nae ileg�a ni y tentago�a sija: Y guipot umasagua esta listo; lao ayo sija y manmaconbida ti mandigno. | Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. |
| 9 | Janao fanmalag y mafapoposg�e na chalan, ya inagange para y guipot umasagua todo y inseda. | Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. |
| 10 | Ya manmapos y tentago sija para y chalan, ya janafanda�a todo y jasoda, parejo y taelaye yan y mauleg; ya y guipot umasagua bula ni manmaconbida. | So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. |
| 11 | � Ya anae jumalom y ray para ulie y manmaconbida, jalie g�ije un taotao na ti minagago ni y magagon gupot. | And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: |
| 12 | Ya ileleg�a nu guiya: Amigo, jafa na jumalomjao g�ine ya taya magagumo magagon gupot? Lao g�iya ti cumuentos. | And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. |
| 13 | Ayo nae y ray ileg�a ni y manma�e�etbe: Gode y adeng�a, yan y canae�a, ya inchile, ya inyite juyong gui jalom jomjom: ayo nae uguaja tumanges, yan chegcheg nifen. | Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
| 14 | Sa megae manmaagang; lao didide manmaayig. | For many are called, but few are chosen. |
| 15 | � Ayo nae manmapos y Fariseo sija, ya manacuentuse jafa taemano ninagadon g�e ni y cuentos�a. | Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. |
| 16 | Ya jatago guato guiya g�iya y disipulo�ija yan iyon Herodes, ileg�ija: Maestro, intingo na jago magajetjao, ya mamananag�ejao na magajet y chalan Yuus; ya taya unadadaje ni jaye; sa ti uno na guaelaye guiya jago y finaboresen taotao. | And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. |
| 17 | Sangane jam nae, jafa jinasosomo? Tunas na infanmanaejam tributo as Sesat, pat aje? | Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Cesar, or not? |
| 18 | Lao si Jesus jatungo y tinaelaye�ija, ya ileg�a: Jafa muna intientayo, hipocritas? | But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? |
| 19 | Fanueyofan ni y salape y tributo. Ya sija machulieg�e un dinario. | Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. |
| 20 | Ayo nae ileg�a nu sija: Jaye iyo este na imagen yan y tinigue ni y gaigue gui jilo�a? | And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? |
| 21 | Sija ileg�ija nu g�iya: Iyon Sesat. Ayo nae ileg�a nu sija: Nae si Sesat ni iyon Sesat, ya si Yuus ni iyon Yuus. | They say unto him, Cesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cesar the things which are Cesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. |
| 22 | Ya anae sija jajungog este na sinangan, ninafanmanman, ya madingo g�e ya manmapos. | When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way. |
| 23 | � Ayo na jaane, manmato guiya g�iya y Saduseo sija, ni y ileg�ija na taya quinajulo y manmatae, ya mafaesen g�e, | The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, |
| 24 | Yleg�ija: Maestro, si Moises ileg�a, Yaguin jaye na taotao matae ya taya patgon�a, y chelu�a uasagua yan y asagua�a, ya unacajulo semiya gui chelu�a. | Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. |
| 25 | Guaja guiya jame siete na lalaje ma�elo; ya y finena umasagua ya matae, ya taya patgon�a, japolo y asagua�a gui chelu�a. | Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: |
| 26 | Parejoja talo y mina dos, yan y mina tres, asta y mina siete. | Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. |
| 27 | Anae munjayan manmatae todosija, matae y palaoan locue. | And last of all the woman died also. |
| 28 | Y quinajulo y manmatae, jaye gui siete ugaeasagua y palaoan? sa todosija maninasagua. | Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. |
| 29 | Ayo nae maninepe as Jesus, ileg�a: Manabag jamyo sa ti intingo y Tinigue sija, ni y ninasi�an Yuus. | Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. |
| 30 | Sa y quinajulo y manmatae, ni manasagua ni umanafanasagua, sa manparejoja yan y angjet sija gui langet. | For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. |
| 31 | Ya y quinajulo y manmatae, ada ti intaetae y esta masangan pot si Yuus nu jamyo na ileg�a: | But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, |
| 32 | Guajo si Yuus Abraham, yan si Yuus Ysaac, yan si Yuus Jacob? Ti g�iya si Yuus y manmatae, na Yuus y manl�l�l�. | I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. |
| 33 | Anae majungog este nu y linajyan taotao, ninafanmanman ni y finanag�e�a. | And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. |
| 34 | � Lao anae y Fariseo sija majungog na janafanmamatquilo y Saduseo sija, manda�a gui un lugat. | But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. |
| 35 | Ya mafaesen g�e, uno guiya sija, ni y magas y lay, tinienta g�e, ileg�a: | Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, |
| 36 | Maestro, jafa y mas dangculo na tinago gui lay? | Master, which is the great commandment in the law? |
| 37 | Si Jesus ileg�a nu g�iya: Guaeya y Se�ot Yuusmo con todo y corasonmo, yan todo y antimo, yan todo y jinasomo. | Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. |
| 38 | Este y finenana yan y dangculo na tinago. | This is the first and great commandment. |
| 39 | Ya y mina dos parejoja yan este: Guaeya y tiguangmo parejo yan jago. | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| 40 | Este y dos na tinago chinileja todo y lay yan y profeta. | On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. |
| 41 | � Ya enae estaba y Fariseo sija mandada�a, si Jesus manfinaesen sija; | While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, |
| 42 | Yleg�a: Jafa jinasonmiyo as Cristo? jaye gaelaje g�e? Sija ileg�ija: Lajin David. | Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. |
| 43 | G�iya ileg�a nu sija: Jafa na si David gui Espiritu finanaan g�e Se�ot, ileg�a: | He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, |
| 44 | Y Se�ot jasangane y Se�otjo, fatachong gui agapa na canaejo, asta qui jupolo y enemigumo gui pap� adengmo. | The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? |
| 45 | Yaguin si David finanaan g�e Se�ot, jafa taemano laji�a? | If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? |
| 46 | Ya taya si�a ni uno umope g�e. Ya desde ayo na jaane taya umatrebe g�e para umafaesesen g�e ni jafa. | And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. |
