| 1 | YA malofan anae si Jesus munjayan este sija na finanag�e�a, jumanao guiya Galilea, ya mato gui oriyan Judea, gui otro bandan Jordan. | And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan; |
| 2 | Ya madalalag g�e ni y dangculo na linajyan taotao, ya janafanjomlo g�ije. | And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. |
| 3 | � Ayo nae manmato guiya g�iya y Fariseo sija, ya matienta g�e ya ileg�ija nu g�iya: Si�a y laje jayute y asagua�a pot jafa na rason? | The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? |
| 4 | G�iya jaope ya ileg�a: Ada ti intaetae na y fumatinas desde y tutujon, laje yan palaoan jafatinas sija; | And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, |
| 5 | Ya ileg�a: Pot este y laje upolo si tata�a yan si nana�a, ya uda�a yan y asagua�a, ya sija na dos unoja catne�ija? | And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? |
| 6 | Taeg�enao sija ti udos, na unoja na catne. Pot enao mina y ninada�a Yuus, ti mauleg y taotao ujanaadesapatta. | Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. |
| 7 | Yleg�ija nu g�iya: Pot jaf mina si Moises jatago na umatugue y papet umadesapatta, ya umayute? | They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? |
| 8 | G�iya ileg�a: Pot y manmajetog corasonmiyo, si Moises na japetmite na inyite y asaguanmiyo, lao y tutujon�a ti taeg�enao. | He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. |
| 9 | Guajo jamyo sumangane, na jayeja y yumute y asagua�a ya ti pot y inabale, ya umasagua yan otro, umabale; ya y umasagua yan y umayute, umabaleja. | And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. |
| 10 | � Yleg�ija y disipulu�a sija nu g�iya: Yaguin taeg�enao nu y laje yan y asaguana, ti mauleg na umasagua. | His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. |
| 11 | Ayo nae ileg�a: Ti todo si�a rumesibe este na sinangan: na ayoja sija y manmanae. | But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. |
| 12 | Sa guaja capon sija na y mafa�ago capon guine y jalom tuyan nana�ija; ya guaja capon na ninafancapon ni y taotao sija; ya guaja capon na jacapon maesaja sija pot rason di y raenon langet. Y si�a rumesibe este, g�iya uresibe. | For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. |
| 13 | � Ayo nae machule guato guiya g�iya famaguon sija, para upolo y canae�a gui jilo�ija, ya ufanaetae; lao y disipulo sija manlinalatde y manmangongone guato. | Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. |
| 14 | Lao si Jesus ileg�a: Polo y famaguon, ya chamiyo chumochoma, na ufanmamaela guiya guajo; sa iyon este sija y raenon langet. | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |
| 15 | Ya anea munjayan japolo y canae�a gui jilo�ija, mapos g�ije. | And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. |
| 16 | � Ya estag�e uno na mato, ya ileg�a: Maestro, jafa mauleg jufatinas, para juguaja taejinecog na linala? | And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? |
| 17 | G�iya ileg�a: Jafa na funaesenyo nu y minauleg? Guaja unoja mauleg: lao yaguin malagojao jumalom gui lin�l�, adaje y tinago sija. | And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. |
| 18 | Yleg�a nu g�iya: Jafa? Si Jesus ileg�a: Munga mamuno; munga umabale; munga ma�aque; munga masangan y ti magajet na testimonio; | He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, |
| 19 | Onra si tatamo, yan si nanamo; Ya g�aeya y tiguangmo calang jago maesaja. | Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| 20 | Y patgon na taotao ileg�a nu g�iya: Todo este sija juadaje: Jafa trabia fattaco? | The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? |
| 21 | Yleg�a si Jesus nu g�iya: Yaguin malagojao na uncabales, janao, ya unbende todo y g�inajamo, ya unnae y mamobble, ya uguaja g�inajamo gui langet; ya maela dalalagyo. | Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. |
| 22 | Lao anae jajungog y patgon na taotao, este na sinangan, ninatriste ya mapos; sa guaja megae iyo�a na g�inaja. | But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. |
| 23 | Ayo nae si Jesus ileg�a ni disipulu�a: Magajet jusangane jamyo, na y manrico mapot jumalom gui raenon langet. | Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. |
| 24 | Ya jusangane jamyo talo, na mas guse un cameyo malofan gui matan jaguja, qui un rico ujalom gui raenon Yuus. | And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. |
| 25 | Anae jajungog este sija y disipulu�a, ninafangosmanman, ya ileg�ija: Jaye nae si�a satbo? | When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? |
| 26 | Maninatan as Jesus, ya ileg�a nu sija: Yan y taotao sija, ti si�a este; lao yan si Yuus, todo si�a. | But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. |
| 27 | Ayo nae manope si Pedro, ileg�a nu g�iya: Estag�ejamja, na inpelo todo, ya indadalalagjao; jafa nae uguajanmame? | Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? |
| 28 | Si Jesus ileg�a nu sija: Magajet jusangane jamyo, na jamyo ni dumadalalagyo, y tiempon finamauleg, anae matachong y Lajin taotao gui tronon y langet�a, jamyo locue infanmatachong gui jilo y dose na trono para injisga y dose na tribu guiya Israel. | And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. |
| 29 | Ya jayeja y yumute guma�a, pat chelu�a laje, pat chelu�a palaoan, pat tata�a, pat nana�a, pat laji�a, pat tano�a pot y naanjo, ufanresibe cien biaje, ya umaereda ni y taejinecog na lin�l�. | And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. |
| 30 | Lao megae na manfinenana ufanuttimo; ya y manuttimo ufanfinenana. | But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. |
