1 AYO na tiempo si Herodes y tetrarca jajungog y faman Jesus; At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,
2 Ya ileg�a nu y tentago�a sija: Este si Juan Bautista: g�iya cajulo gui entalo y manmatae, enao mina mandangculo na mannamanman jafatitinas guiya g�iya. And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
3 � Sa si Herodes esta jacone si Juan, ya jagode, ya japolo gui calaboso, pot si Herodias, asaguan Felipe y chelu�a. For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.
4 Sa si Juan ileg�a nu g�iya: Ti tunas na un guaja jao nu este na palaoan. For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
5 Ya anae malago na upinino g�e, maa�ao ni y linajyan taotao; sa pinelo�ija na si Juan profeta g�e. And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
6 Ya anae mato y jaanin y mafa�agon Herodes, y jagan Herodias bumaela gui talo, ya ninamagof si Herodes, But when Herod’s birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
7 Ya pot este japromete ya manjula na uninae todo y guinagao�a. Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
8 Ya g�iya guinin umatungo finena an nana�a, ya ileg�a: Naeyo g�ine gui un plato ni y ilon Juan Bautista. And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger.
9 Ayo nae y ray ninatriste; lao pot causa y juramento�a yan y mangachong�a na mangaegue gui lamasa, manago na umanae. And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
10 Ya, manago na umautot y ilon Juan gui calaboso. And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
11 Ya machule guato y ilo gui un plato, ya manae y patgon palaoan, ya g�iya chumule para si nana�a. And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
12 Ya y disipulu�a sija, manmato ya machule y tataotao�a, ya majafot, ya manmapos, ya masangane si Jesus. And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
13 � Ya anae jajungog este si Jesus, mapos g�ije gui un batco para y desierto na lugat na sumajnge: ya anae majungog ni y linajyan taotao sija, madalalague g�e, manmamocatja desde siuda sija. When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 Ya jumanao si Jesus, ya jalie y dangculo na linajyan taotao: ya ninamaase ni ayo sija, ya janafanjomlo y manmalango sija. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 � Ya anae estaba pupnenge g�ije na jaane, manmato guiya g�iya y disipulu�a sija ya ileg�ija; Este na lugat desierto ya y tiempo esta ufalofan; tago y linajyan taotao ya ufanjanao, ya ufanmalag y sengsong sija, ya ufanmamajan na�ija. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 Lao si Jesus ileg�a nu sija: Taya nesesida na sija ufanjanao: jamyo innae na�ija. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 Sija ileg�ija nu g�iya: Taya g�ine guaja na sincoja na pan, ya dos na g�ijan. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 G�iya ileg�a: Chulieyofan g�ine mague. He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 Ya jatago y linajyan taotao na ufanmatachong gui jilo chaguan, jachule y sinco na pan yan dos na g�ijan ya jaatan julo y langet, ya jabendise: ya jaipe y pan ya janae y disipulo sija, ya y disipulo janae y linajyan taotao. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 Ya ma�ocho todos, ya manjaspog; ya anae majoca y sebblan pedaso sija na maipe, bula dose na canastra. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 Ya y ma�ocho sija, sinco mit na lalaje, ti matufong y famalaoan yan y famaguon. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
22 � Enseguidas si Jesus janafanjalom y disipulu�a sija gui un batco, ya manjanao manmofona, manmalag y otro bandan sadog, y tiempo nae g�iya janafanjanao y linajyan taotao. And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
23 Ya anae munjayan jadespide y linajyan taotao, cajulo gui un ogso na sumajnge, ya manaetae. Ya estaba gui puenge, ya sumasaga g�ig�iyaja namaesa. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
24 Lao y batco pago estaba gui talo gui tase, pinapada ni napo, sa y manglo contra. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 Ya y mina cuatro na guatdia gui puenge, si Jesus jumanao para iyasija mamomocat gui jilo tase. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 Ya anae malie ni disipulu�a sija na mamomocat gui jilo tase, ninafa�atsaga, ya ileg�ija: Fafa�ag�e este; ya managang ni y minaa�ao�ija. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 Enseguidas si Jesus cumuentos, ileg�a nu sija: Angoco jamyo; guajoyo; chamiyo fanmaaa�ao. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 Ayo nae manope si Pedro ileg�a: Se�ot, yaguin jago, tago yo ya jufalag iyajago gui jilo janom. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 G�iya ileg�a: Maela. Ya tumunog si Pedro gui batco, ya mamocat gui jilo janom para uguaguato gui as Jesus. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 Lao anae jalie na dangculo na manglo, ninamaa�ao; ya anae jatutujon dimafondo, jaagang, ileg�a: Se�ot, nalibreyo. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 Ya enseguidas si Jesus jajuto mona y canae�a, ya guiniut g�e, ya ileg�a nu g�iya: Taotao na didide jinengguemo! Sa jafa ti unjonggue? And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 Ya anae manjalom julo gui batco, y manglo quieto. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33 Ayo nae y mangaegue gui batco, maadora g�e ileg�ija: Magajet na jago Lajin Yuus. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
34 � Ya anae manmalofan gui tase, manmato gui tano Genesaret. And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
35 Ya y taotao ayo na lugat anae matungo g�e, manmanago y oriyan todo ayo na tano, na umacone guato todo y manmalango. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
36 Ya magagao g�e na upolo na umapacha y madobbla y magagu�a; ya todo y pumacha g�e, guefjomlo sija. And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
