| 1 | AYO na tiempo nae jumajanao si Jesus un sabalo na jaane gui entalo mais ya y disipulu�a man�alang, ya jatutujon manma�ule ni espiga ya jacano. | At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. |
| 2 | Ya anae jalie y Fariseo sija, ileg�ija: Estag�e y disipulumo na jafatitinas y ti mauleg para umafatinas gui sabalo na jaane. | But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. |
| 3 | Ya g�iya ileg�a nu sija: Ada ti untaetae, jafa finatinas�a si David, anae �alang yan y mangachog�a? | But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; |
| 4 | Jaftaemano jumalom gui guimayuus, ya jacano y pan proposision sija, na ti cabales g�iya ucano, ni y mangachong�a; lao para y mamaleja? | How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? |
| 5 | Pat, ada ti untaetae gui lay, na y jaanin y sabado, gui templo y mamale sija japrofana y sabado, ya taya isao�ija? | Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? |
| 6 | Guajo sumangane jamyo, uno mas dangculo qui y templo gaegue g�ine. | But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. |
| 7 | Lao yaguin intingo jafa este ileleg�a, Minaase malagojo, ti inefrese, ti insangan mojon contra y manaeisao. | But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. |
| 8 | Sa y Se�ot y sabado y Lajin taotao. | For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. |
| 9 | � Ya anae jumanao g�ije malag y gumayus�ija; | And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue: |
| 10 | Ya estag�e un taotao na majlog y canae�a; ya mafaesen ileg�ija: Ada mauleg para jita na infanamte gui sabado? para umafaaela g�e. | And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. |
| 11 | Ya g�iya ilegna: Jafa taotao guaja gui entalo miyo yaguin guaja un quinilo na podong gui joyo, gui jaanin sabalo, ada ti uestira y canae�a ya jochule? | And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? |
| 12 | Ada ti mas bali�a un taotao qui un quinilo? Pot este, cabales na umafatinas mauleg gui jaanin sabado. | How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. |
| 13 | Ayo nae ileg�a ni y ayo na taotao: Juto y canaemo; ya jajuto ya finamauleg talo parejo yan y otro. | Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. |
| 14 | � Ayo nae y Fariseo sija manjanao, ya manafaesen entre sija contra g�iya para umapuno g�e. | Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. |
| 15 | Lao anae jatungo ai Jesus, mapos g�ije; ya madalalag g�e linajyan taotao, ya janafanjomlo todosija. | But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; |
| 16 | Ya g�iya guefmanencatga, na cha�ija munamatutungo g�e. | And charged them that they should not make him known: |
| 17 | Para umacumple y esta munjayan masangan pot y profeta Isaias, ileg�a: | That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, |
| 18 | Estag�iya y tentagojo ni y juayig, y g�inaeyaco ni y janamagof y antijo: na jupoluye ni y Espiritujo gui jilo�a, ya jasangane Gentiles y juisio. | Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. |
| 19 | Ti upotfia, ni uagang; ya taya ni uno ujiningog y inagang�a gui chalan. | He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. |
| 20 | Ti umayulang y piao ni mayamag ni umapuno y mechan dangis ni y aasa asta qui machule y juisio para y guinana. | A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. |
| 21 | Ya pot y naan�a, manmannanangga y Gentiles. | And in his name shall the Gentiles trust. |
| 22 | � Ya machulieg�e guato un inanite, na bachet yan udo, ya janajomlo; ayo nae cumuentos y udo yan manlie. | Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. |
| 23 | Ya todo y taotao sija ninafanmanman, ya ileg�ija: Ada ti este yuje y lajin David? | And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? |
| 24 | Lao y Fariseo sija jajungog ya ileg�ija: Este ti uyute juyong y anite, yaguin ti pot Beetsebub, magas y anite sija. | But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. |
| 25 | Ya si Jesus, anae jatungo y jinaso�ija, ileg�a: Todo y raeno umadibide contra g�iyaja uyulang; ya cada guma, pat siuda, umadibide contra g�iyaja, ti usaga. | And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: |
| 26 | Yaguin si Satanas jayute juyong si Satanas, g�iya umadibide contra g�iyaja, ya jaftaemano y raeno�a sumaga? | And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? |
| 27 | Yanguin guajo pot si Beetsebub juyuyute juyong y anite sija; pot jaye y famaguonmiyo, fanyinite sija juyong? Pot ayo, sija ufanjuesmiyo. | And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. |
| 28 | Yanguin pot y Espiritun Yuus, juyute juyong y anite sija, magajet na esta mato guiya jamyo y raenon Yuus. | But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. |
| 29 | Sajafa? Jaftaemano si�a un taotao jumalom gui guima y matatnga na taotao ya uyulang todo y g�inaja�a, yanguin ti jagode finenana y matatnga? Ayo nae si�a jayulang y guima�a. | Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. |
| 30 | Y ti jumajame, contrariujo g�e; ya y ti rumecoje g�e guiya guajo, g�iya umachalapon. | He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. |
| 31 | � Pot enao na jusangane jamyo: Todo isao yan y chatfino contra si Yuus, umasie y taotao sija; lao y chatfino contra y Espiritu, ti umaasie y taotao. | Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. |
| 32 | Ya jayeja y cumuentos contra y Lajin taotao, umaasie; lao jayeja y cumuentos contra y Espiritu Santo, ti umaasie, ni este na tiempo, ni y ayo na mamamaela. | And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. |
| 33 | Fatinas mauleg na trongcon jayo, yan y tinegcha�a mauleg; pat fatinas taelaye na trongcon jayo, yan taelaye y tinegcha�a; sa pot y tinegcha�a, y jayo esta matungo. | Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. |
| 34 | O rasan culebla! jafa taemano jamyo na manaelaye si�a manguentos mauleg, lo sa gui minegae y guaja gui corason, sinasangan y pachot. | O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. |
| 35 | Y mauleg na taotao, nu y mauleg na g�inaja gui corason�a, mauleg chinilele�a; lao y taelaye na taotao, nu y taelaye na g�inaja gui corason�a, taelaye chinilele�a. | A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. |
| 36 | Lao guajo sumangane jamyo, na todo y finijo na taesetbe ya jasasangan y taotao sija, janesesita ufanmannae cuenta gui jaanin y sentensia. | But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. |
| 37 | Sa pot y finomo na unmanatunas jao, yan pot y finomo na unmasentensia jao. | For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. |
| 38 | � Ayo nae manmanope y escriba yan y Fariseo sija ileg�ija: Maestro manmalagojam na inlie un se�atmo. | Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. |
| 39 | Ya g�iya manope ileg�a nu sija: y generasion manaelaye yan man�bale manmanaliligao y se�at, lao taya se�at ufanmanae, na y se�at Jonas profeta. | But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: |
| 40 | Sa taeg�enaoja si Jonas sumaga tres na jaane yan tres na puenge gui jalom y tiyan y bayena, ayo locue mina y Lajin taotao, usaga tres na jaane yan tres na puenge gui jalom corason y tano. | For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. |
| 41 | Y taotao Ninibe ufangajulo gui juisio yan este na generasion, ya ufanmasentensia, sa sija manma�otsot ni y setmon Jonas; ya estag�eja, uno g�ine na lugat na mas dangculo qui si Jonas. | The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. |
| 42 | Y raena gui sancatan ucajulo gui juisio yan este na generasion ya ufanmasentensia, sa mato guine y uttimon tano, para uecungog y tiningo Salomon, ya estag�eja uno g�ine na lugat na mas dangculo qui si Salomon. | The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. |
| 43 | Yanguin y �placha na espiritu jumanao gui taotao, mamomocat gui anglo na lugat, ya jaaliligao nae udescansa, lao ti ma�oda. | When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. |
| 44 | Ayo nae ileg�a: Jutalo guato para y iyajame ni anae guine ayoyo. Ya anae mato guato, jasoda taesinajguan, binale yan maadotna. | Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. |
| 45 | Ayo nae mapos, ya mangone talo gachong�a siete na espiritu na mas taelaye qui g�iya, ya manjalom ya ma�aga g�ije; ya mas taelaye uttimo�a yuje na taotao qui y finena�a. Taeg�ineja locue ujumuyong este na generasion y manaelaye. | Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. |
| 46 | � Ya anae estaba g�e cumuecuentos yan y taotao sija; estag�e, si nana�a, yan y ma�elu�a mangaegue gui sumanjiyong, na manmalago na umacuentuse g�e. | While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. |
| 47 | Ya ileg�a uno: Estag�e, si nanamo, yan y ma�elumo gui sumanjiyong, na manmalago na umacuentuse jao. | Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. |
| 48 | Ya g�iya jaope ayo y sumangan este, ya ileg�a: Jaye nanajo yan jaye ma�elujo? | But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? |
| 49 | Ya jajuto y canae�a gui disipulu�a, ya ileg�a: Estag�e, y nanajo yan y ma�elujo. | And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! |
| 50 | Sa todo ayo y fumatinas y minalago y Tatajo ni y gaegue gui langet, este g�iya chelujo laje, yan chelujo palaoan, yan nanajo. | For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. |
