| 1 | YA ayo na tiempo, anae manda�a megae na mit na linajyan taotao, asta managacha uno yan otro; ya jatutujon sumangane y disipulu�a sija finenana: Adaje jamyo ni y libaduran y Fariseo sija ni y hipocresia. | In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. |
| 2 | Sa taya na matatampe na ti umababa; pat mananana, na ti umatungo. | For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. |
| 3 | Enaomina jafa guinin sinanganmiyo gui jemjom, umajungog gui manana; ya jafa y incuentuse gui talanga gui jalom aposento, umaagangnaejon gui jilo guma. | Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. |
| 4 | Ya jusangane jamyo ni y amigujo sija: Chamiyo fanmaaa�ao ni ayo sija y pumuno y tataotao, sa an munjayan ayo, taya jafa si�a ujafatinas. | And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. |
| 5 | Lao jusangane jamyo jaye inmaa�ag�e: Fanmaa�ao jamyo ni ayo y yanguin munjayan japuno, guaja ninasi�a�a na uyute asta sasalaguan: Junggan, jusanga�e jamyo: Fanmaa�ao jamyo nu g�iya. | But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. |
| 6 | Ada ti mabende sinco na pajaro, pot dos na octabo? ya ni uno guiya sija mamalefa�aejon gui menan Yuus? | Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? |
| 7 | Lao asta y gaponulonmiyo esta manmatufong. Chamiyo fanmaaa�ao: sa manbali�a jamyo qui y megae pajaro. | But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. |
| 8 | � Ya jusangane jamyo: Jayeja y comonfesat�aejonyo gui menan y taotao sija; uquinenfesat�aejon locue ni y Lajin taotao gui menan y angjet Yuus. | Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: |
| 9 | Lao ayo y pumuneyo gui menan taotao sija, siempre pune g�e gui menan y angjet Yuus. | But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. |
| 10 | Ya jayeja y cumuentos contra y Lajin taotao, umaasie; lao y chumatfino contra Espiritu Santo, ti umaasie. | And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. |
| 11 | Ya anae manmacone jamyo gui menan y sinagoga sija, yan y manmagas, yan y gaesisi�a, chamiyo madadaje jaftaemano yan jafa para inepe, ni jafa para insangan; | And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: |
| 12 | Sa y Espiritu Santo infanfinanag�e g�ije na ora jafa para insangan. | For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. |
| 13 | � Ya uno gui linajyan taotao ileg�a nu g�iya: Maestro, tayo y chelujo ya ufacaeyo ni y erensia. | And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. |
| 14 | Lao ileg�a nu g�iya: Taotao, jaye pumoloyo gui jilomo para jues, pat para mamacae? | And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? |
| 15 | Ya ileg�a nu sija: Atan, ya inguesadaje jamyo ni y linagga: sa y lin�l� y taotao, ti guinin y manadan g�inaja sija ni y jasagagaye. | And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. |
| 16 | Ya mansinangane un parabola, ileg�a: y fangualuan un taotao na rico, jumujuyong megae na quineco. | And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: |
| 17 | Ya manjaso gui sumanjalom�a, ileg�a: Jafa jufatinas, sa taya mano nae jupolo y quinecojo. | And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? |
| 18 | Ya ileg�a: Este bae jufatinas: bae jujala papa y lanchoco, ya jujatsa y mas dangculo; ya ayo nae jupolo todo y maiisso yan y g�inajajo. | And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. |
| 19 | Ya jualog ni y antijo: Ante, megae g�inajamo, para megae na sacan; descansa, ya unchocho, yan unguimen, yan unmagof. | And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. |
| 20 | Lao si Yuus ileg�a nu g�iya: Taejinaso jao! pago na puenge nesesita umachule y antimo: ya para jaye ayo sija na g�inaja ni unnaetnon? | But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? |
| 21 | Taeg�enaoja y manaetnon y g�inaja para g�iyaja, ya ti urico para si Yuus. | So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. |
| 22 | � Ya ileg�a ni y disipolu�a sija: Enaomina jusangane jamyo, Chamiyo madadaje pot y lin�l�nmiyo, jafa para incano; ni y tataotaonmiyo, jafa para innaminagago. | And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. |
| 23 | Sa y lin�l� mas qui y nengcano, ya y tataotao mas qui y magago. | The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. |
| 24 | Jaso y aga sija, na ti manmanananom, ni ufanmangoco; ni uguaja sagannengcano�ija ni lancho; ya si Yuus janachocho sija; ya cuanto mas manmauleg jamyo qui y pajaro! | Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? |
| 25 | Yan jaye guiya jamyo pot inadaje si�a uaumenta un codo y lineca�a? | And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? |
| 26 | Yanguin ti si�a incheg�e y mas diquique, para jafa inadadaje y pumalo? | If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? |
| 27 | Jaso y lirio sija, jaftaemano mandoco�i�ija! ti manmachochocho, ni ufanmanjila; ya jusangane jamyo na si Salomon contodo y minalag�a, ti minagago parejo yan uno guiya sija. | Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |
| 28 | Yanguin si Yuus janafanminagago y chaguan qui fangualuan ni y gaegue pago, ya agupa esta mayute guato gui jetno; ti mas magajet na inninafanminagago jamyo, O jamyo didide na jinenggue? | If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? |
| 29 | Ya chamiyo umaliligao jafa para incano, ni jafa para inguimen, ni infanbu�buente gui jinasonmiyo. | And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. |
| 30 | Sa todo este sija na g�inaja manmaaliligao ni y nasion sija gui tano: lao y tatanmiyo jatungoja na innesesita estesija na g�inaja. | For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. |
| 31 | Lao aligao finena y raeno�a; ya todo este sija na g�inaja umanafanda�a para jamyo. | But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. |
| 32 | Chamiyo fanmaaa�ao, jamyo diquique na manada; sa este minagof y tatanmiyo, na infanninae ni y raeno. | Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. |
| 33 | Bende y g�inajamo, ya unfannae. limosna; fanmamamauleg botsa ni ti ubijo, un g�inaja gui langet na ti ufatta, anae ti usineda ni y saque, ni ti upotliya. | Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. |
| 34 | Sa manoja nae gaegue y g�inajamo, ayoja nae gaegue locue y corasonmo. | For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
| 35 | � Polo ya esta madudog y senturanmiyo, ya esta masonggue y candet miyo; | Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; |
| 36 | Ya infanparejo yan ayo na taotao sija y jananangga y se�ot�ija, yanguin tumalo guato guinin y guipot umasagua; sa para yanguin mato ya manyajo, umababaye enseguidas. | And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. |
| 37 | Mandichoso ayo sija na tentago, yanguin mato y se�ot, mansineda manbebela; magajet jusangane jamyo, na ududog g�e, ya unafanmatachong para ufa�ocho, ya ufalag y sumanmena ya usetbe sija. | Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. |
| 38 | Ya yanguin ufato gui segundo na bela ya gui tetsero, ya mansineda sija taeg�ijeja, mandichoso ayo sija na tentago. | And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. |
| 39 | Este tingo na yanguin y tata gui guima mojon jatungo jafa na ora nae ufato y saque, upulan ya ti upolo na umayulang y guima�a. | And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. |
| 40 | Enaomina nafanlisto jamyo locue, sa ufato y Lajin taotao, g�ije na ora gui anae ti injajaso. | Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. |
| 41 | � Ayonae ileg�a si Pedro: Se�ot, unsangan este na acomparasion para jame, pat para todos? | Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? |
| 42 | Ya y Se�ot ileg�a: Jaye nae ayo y mauleg yan mejnalom na mayetdomo, ni y ninamagas ni y se�ot�a gui g�inajana, para uninanae na�a gui tiempo�a? | And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? |
| 43 | Dichoso ayo na tentago y yanguin mato y se�ot�a, sineda na jachochog�e taeg�ije. | Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. |
| 44 | Magajet jusangane jamyo; na uninamagas gui jilo y g�inaja�a, todo. | Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. |
| 45 | Lao yanguin ayo na tentago y ileg�a gui jalom corason�a: Y se�otjo caeja mato; ya jatutujon pumanag y famalaoan na tentago, yan y lalaje; ya chumocho, yan gumimen, ya bumolacho; | But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; |
| 46 | Y se�ot ayo na tentago, ufato g�ije na jaane gui anae ti jananangga, yan gui ora anae ti jatungo, ya uninasuja, ya uninafanda�a y patte�a yan y ti manmanjonggue. | The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. |
| 47 | Ya ayo na tentago y jatungo y minalago y se�ot�a; ya ti jalisto g�e, ni jafatinas jaftaemano y minalago�a, umasaulag megae. | And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. |
| 48 | Lao ayo y ti jatungo, ya jafatinas digno na umasauleg, lao didide masaulag�a. Sa jayeja y megae manai�a, siempre megae uchule, ya jaye y megae catgo�a, mas megae magagao�a. | But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. |
| 49 | � Matoyo para juyute y guafe gui jilo tano: ya jafa malagojo yanguin esta todo ma�i�ila? | I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? |
| 50 | Lao guaja tagpangeco para jumatagpange; ya jafa chachatsagajayo asta qui umacumple! | But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! |
| 51 | Injajaso jamyo na matoyo para junae pas y tano? Jusangane jamyo, na aje; lao mas para inaguaguat. | Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: |
| 52 | Sa desde pago sigue mona, uguaja gui un guma sinco na ti manparejo, y tres contra y dos, ya y dos contra y tres. | For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. |
| 53 | Y tata uaguaguat contra y laji�a, ya y laje contra y tata; ya y nana contra y jaga�a, ya y jaga contra y nana; y suegra contra y yetna, ya y yetna contra y suegra�a. | The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. |
| 54 | � Ya ileg�a locue ni y taotao sija: Yanguin inlilie y mapagajes na cajulo gui sumanlichan, siempre ilelegmiyo: Mamamaela y ichan; ya magajet. | And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. |
| 55 | Ya yanguin manguaefe y manglo sanjaya, ilelegmiyo: Uguaja maepe; ya ufato. | And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. |
| 56 | Manhipocrita jamyo; intingo umegsamina y langet, yan y tano; ya jafa na ti intingo umegsamina y tiempo pago? | Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? |
| 57 | Ya jafa na ni jamyo ti injisga jafa y tinas? | Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? |
| 58 | Ya mientras jumanao jao yan y enemigumo para y magas, procura munaquelibre jao gui jinanaomo; na noseaja uninarastra guato gui jues, ya y jues uninentrega gui ofisiat, ya y ofisiat unpinelo gui calaboso. | When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. |
| 59 | Jusangane jao: Ti unjanao juyong g�ije, asta qui unapase y uttimo na marabidi. | I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite. |
