| 1 | Bildad's Third Speech / God Is the One To Fear Bildad from Shuah said: |
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
| 2 | God is the one to fear, because God is in control and rules the heavens. | Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. |
| 3 | Who can count his army of stars? Isn't God the source of light? | Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? |
| 4 | How can anyone be innocent in the sight of God? | How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? |
| 5 | To him, not even the light of the moon and stars can ever be pure. | Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. |
| 6 | So how can we humans, when we are merely worms? | How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |
