Job's Reply to Zophar / You Think You Are So Great
Job said to his friends:
And Job answered and said,
2 You think you are so great, with all the answers. No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3 But I know as much as you do, and so does everyone else. But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4 I have always lived right, and God answered my prayers; now friends make fun of me. I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5 It's easy to condemn those who are suffering, when you have no troubles. He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6 Robbers and other godless people live safely at home and say, “God is in our hands!” The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

If You Want To Learn
If you want to learn, then go and ask the wild animals and the birds,
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 the flowers and the fish. Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Any of them can tell you what the Lord has done. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 Every living creature is in the hands of God. In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
11 We hear with our ears, taste with our tongues, Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12 and gain some wisdom from those who have lived a long time. With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 But God is the real source of wisdom and strength. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
14 No one can rebuild what he destroys, or release those he has imprisoned. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
15 God can hold back the rain or send a flood, Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16 just as he rules over liars and those they lie to. With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17 God shames counselors, turns judges into fools, He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18 and makes slaves of kings. He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19 God removes priests and others who have great power— He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20 he confuses wise, experienced advisors, He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
21 puts mighty kings to shame, and takes away their power. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
22 God turns darkness to light; He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
23 he makes nations strong, then shatters their strength. He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
24 God strikes their rulers senseless, then leaves them to roam through barren deserts, He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25 lost in the dark, staggering like someone drunk. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
