절	Contemporary English Version (2006)	King James Version
1	A Prayer in Times of Trouble Show that I am right, God! Defend me against everyone who doesn't know you; rescue me from each of those deceitful liars.	Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2	I run to you for protection. Why do you turn me away? Why must enemies mistreat me and make me sad?	For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3	Send your light and your truth to guide me. Let them lead me to your house on your sacred mountain.	O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4	Then I will worship at your altar because you make me joyful. You are my God, and I will praise you. Yes, I will praise you as I play my harp.	Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5	Why am I discouraged? Why am I restless? I trust you, Lord! And I will praise you again because you help me, and you are my God.	Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
