절	Contemporary English Version (2006)	King James Version
(A song by David for worship.) / Thanking the for Victory The Lord was on our side! Let everyone in Israel say:	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
“The Lord was on our side! Otherwise, the enemy attack	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
would have killed us all, because it was furious.	Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
We would have been swept away in a violent flood	Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
of high and roaring waves.”	Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
Let's praise the Lord! He protected us from enemies who were like wild animals,	Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
and we escaped like birds from a hunter's torn net.	Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
The Lord made heaven and earth, and he is the one who sends us help.	Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
