How To Pray
First of all, I ask you to pray for everyone. Ask God to help and bless them all, and tell God how thankful you are for each of them.
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
Pray for kings and others in power, so we may live quiet and peaceful lives as we worship and honor God. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
This kind of prayer is good, and it pleases God our Savior. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
God wants everyone to be saved and to know the whole truth, which is, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. Jesus was truly human, and he gave himself to rescue all of us. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
God showed us this at the right time. Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
This is why God chose me to be a preacher and an apostle of the good news. I am telling the truth. I am not lying. God sent me to teach the Gentiles about faith and truth. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
I want everyone everywhere to lift innocent hands toward heaven and pray, without being angry or arguing with each other. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
I would like for women to wear modest and sensible clothes. They should not have fancy hairdos, or wear expensive clothes, or put on jewelry made of gold or pearls. In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Women who claim to love God should do helpful things for others, But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
and they should learn by being quiet and paying attention. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
They should be silent and not be allowed to teach or to tell men what to do. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
After all, Adam was created before Eve, For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
and the man Adam wasn't the one who was fooled. It was the woman Eve who was completely fooled and sinned. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
But women will be saved by having children, if they stay faithful, loving, holy, and modest. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
