Help Each Other My friends, you are spiritual. So if someone is trapped in sin, you should gently lead that person back to the right path. But watch out, and don't be tempted yourself.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
You obey the law of Christ when you offer each other a helping hand. | Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
If you think you are better than others, when you really aren't, you are wrong. | For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Do your own work well, and then you will have something to be proud of. But don't compare yourself with others. | But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
We each must carry our own load. | For every man shall bear his own burden.
Share every good thing you have with anyone who teaches you what God has said. | Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
You cannot fool God, so don't make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant. | Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life. | For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Don't get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don't give up. | And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord. | As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Final Warnings You can see what big letters I make when I write with my own hand.
Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. |
Those people who are telling you to get circumcised are only trying to show how important they are. And they don't want to get into trouble for preaching about the cross of Christ. | As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
They are circumcised, but they don't obey the Law of Moses. All they want is to brag about having you circumcised. | For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
But I will never brag about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his cross, the world is dead as far as I am concerned, and I am dead as far as the world is concerned. | But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
It doesn't matter if you are circumcised or not. All that matters is that you are a new person. | For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
If you follow this rule, you will belong to God's true people. God will treat you with undeserved kindness and will bless you with peace. | And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
On my own body are scars that prove I belong to Christ Jesus. So I don't want anyone to bother me anymore. | From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
My friends, I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you! Amen. | Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Unto the Galatians written from Rome.
