| 2 | Looft Hem al zijn engelen, Looft Hem heel zijn heir! | Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. |
| 3 | Looft Hem, zon en maan, Looft Hem allen, flonkerende sterren; | Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. |
| 4 | Looft Hem hoogste gewesten, De wateren boven de hemel! | Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. |
| 5 | De Naam van Jahweh moeten ze loven, Want Hij gebood, en ze werden geschapen; | Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. |
| 6 | Hij wees hun een plaats voor altijd en eeuwig, Hij gaf hun een wet, die ze niet overtreden. | He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. |

| 13 | De Naam van Jahweh moeten ze loven: Want zijn Naam is verheven; Zìjn glorie alleen Gaat hemel en aarde te boven! | Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. |
