| 1 | Chvalitebná píseň Davidova. Vyvyšovati tě budu, Bože můj králi, a dobrořečiti jménu tvému na věky věků. | I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. |
| 2 | Na každý den dobrořečiti budu tobě, a chváliti jméno tvé na věky věků. | Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. |
| 3 | Hospodin veliký jest, a vší chvály hodný, a velikost jeho nemůž vystižena býti. | Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. |
| 4 | Rodina rodině vychvalovati bude skutky tvé, a předivnou moc tvou zvěstovati. | One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. |
| 5 | O slávě a kráse velebnosti tvé, i o věcech tvých předivných mluviti budu. | I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. |
| 6 | A moc přehrozných skutků tvých rozhlašovati budou; i já důstojnost tvou budu vypravovati. | And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. |
| 7 | Pamět mnohé dobroty tvé hlásati budou, a o spravedlnosti tvé zpívati, řkouce: | They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. |
| 8 | Milostivý a lítostivý jest Hospodin, dlouhoshovívající a velikého milosrdenství. | The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. |
| 9 | Dobrotivý Hospodin všechněm, a slitování jeho nade všecky skutky jeho. | The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. |
| 10 | Oslavujtež tebe, Hospodine, všickni skutkové tvoji, a svatí tvoji tobě dobrořečte. | All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. |
| 11 | Slávu království tvého ať vypravují, a o síle tvé mluví, | They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; |
| 12 | Aby v známost uvedli synům lidským moci jeho, a slávu i ozdobu království jeho. | To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. |
| 13 | Království tvé jest království všech věků, a panování tvé nad jedním každým pokolením. | Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. |
| 14 | Zdržujeť Hospodin všecky padající, a pozdvihuje všechněch sklíčených. | The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. |
| 15 | Oči všechněch v tebe doufají, a ty dáváš jim pokrm jejich v čas příhodný. | The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. |
| 16 | Otvíráš ruku svou, a nasycuješ každý živočich podlé dobře líbezné vůle své. | Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. |
| 17 | Spravedlivý jest Hospodin ve všech cestách svých, a milosrdný ve všech skutcích svých. | The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. |
| 18 | Blízký jest Hospodin všechněm, kteříž ho vzývají, všechněm, kteříž ho vzývají v pravdě. | The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. |
| 19 | Vůli těch, kteříž se ho bojí, činí, a křik jejich slyší, a spomáhá jim. | He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. |
| 20 | Ostříhá Hospodin všech, kdož jej milují, ale všecky bezbožné zatratí. | The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. |
| 21 | Chválu Hospodinovu vypravovati budou ústa má, a dobrořečiti bude všeliké tělo jménu svatému jeho od věků až na věky. | My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. |
