1	Da sagte der Herr zu Mose: »Jetzt wirst du sehen, was ich dem Pharao antun werde. Er wird gezwungen sein, sie aus seinem Dienst zu entlassen. Er wird sie sogar mit Gewalt aus dem Land treiben.«	Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2	Gott beruft Mose in Ägypten Gott redete mit Mose und sagte zu ihm: »Ich bin der Herr.	And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord:
3	Abraham, Isaak und Jakob bin ich als der allmächtige Gott erschienen. Aber mit meinem Namen ›Herr‹ habe ich mich ihnen nicht zu erkennen gegeben.	And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
4	Ich habe meinen Bund mit ihnen geschlossen: Ich werde ihnen das Land Kanaan geben. Es ist das Land, in dem sie als Fremde gelebt haben.	And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
5	Ich habe auch das Klagen der Israeliten gehört, weil die Ägypter sie zur Arbeit zwingen. Da habe ich mich an meinen Bund erinnert.	And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
6	Darum sage den Israeliten: Ich bin der Herr. Ich werde euch aus der Zwangsarbeit in Ägypten führen. Aus dem Sklavendienst werde ich euch befreien. Mit erhobenem Arm werde ich euch erlösen und mit Ägypten hart ins Gericht gehen.	Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
7	Euch aber werde ich als mein Volk annehmen und will euer Gott sein. Ihr werdet erkennen, dass ich der Herr, euer Gott, bin: Ich werde euch aus der Zwangsarbeit in Ägypten führen.	And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8	Ich werde euch in das Land bringen, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob versprochen habe. Das werde ich euch zum Besitz geben. Denn ich bin der Herr.«	And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.
9	Mose gab das den Israeliten genau so weiter. Aber sie hörten nicht auf ihn. Die harte Arbeit hatte sie mutlos gemacht.	And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10	Da sagte der Herr zu Mose:	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
11	»Geh zum Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, und rede mit ihm. Er soll die Israeliten aus seinem Land ziehen lassen.«	Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
12	Aber Mose erwiderte dem Herrn: »Wenn die Israeliten nicht auf mich gehört haben, wie soll dann der Pharao auf mich hören? Ich bin doch so ungeschickt im Reden.«	And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
13	So hatte der Herr mit Mose und Aaron geredet. Er hatte sie zu den Israeliten geschickt und zum Pharao, dem König von Ägypten. Denn sie sollten die Israeliten aus Ägypten führen.	And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
14	Die Abstammung von Mose und Aaron Dies sind die Oberhäupter der Familien, aus denen Mose und Aaron hervorgingen. Von Ruben, dem Erstgeborenen Israels, stammen ab: Henoch, Pallu, Hezron und Karmi. Deren Familien stammen von Ruben ab.	These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
15	Die Söhne Simeons sind: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar und Schaul, der Sohn der Kanaaniterin. Das sind die Familien, die von Simeon abstammen.	And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
16	Und so heißen die Söhne Levis nach ihrem Stammesverzeichnis: Gerschon, Kehat und Merari. Levi wurde 137 Jahre alt.	And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.
17	Die Söhne Gerschons sind: Libni und Schimi mit ihren Familien.	The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
18	Die Söhne Kehats sind: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiel. Kehat wurde 133 Jahre alt.	And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.
19	Die Söhne des Merari sind: Machli und Muschi. Das sind die Familien, die von Levi abstammen, nach ihrem Stammesverzeichnis.	And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.
20	Amram nahm Jochebed zur Frau. Sie war die Schwester seines Vaters. Sie gebar ihm Aaron und Mose. Amram wurde 137 Jahre alt.	And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
21	Die Söhne Jizhars sind: Korach, Nefeg und Sichri.	And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22	Die Söhne Usiels sind: Mischael, Elizafan und Sitri.	And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
23	Aaron nahm Elischeba zur Frau. Sie war die Tochter des Amminadab und die Schwester des Nachschon. Sie gebar ihm Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Itamar.	And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24	Die Söhne Korachs sind: Assir, Elkana und Abiasaf. Das sind die Familien der Korachiter.	And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
25	Aarons Sohn Eleasar nahm eine der Töchter des Putiel zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Pinhas. Das sind die Häupter der Leviten nach ihren Familien.	And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
26	Das ist die Abstammung von Mose und Aaron. Ihnen hatte der Herr aufgetragen: »Führt die Israeliten aus Ägypten, Schar um Schar.«	These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
27	Die beiden redeten mit dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten. Denn Mose und Aaron sollten die Israeliten aus Ägypten führen.	These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.
28	All das geschah in Ägypten zu der Zeit, als der Herr mit Mose redete.	And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
29	Der Auftrag an Mose und Aaron Damals sagte der Herr zu Mose: »Ich bin der Herr. Sag dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, alles, was ich dir auftrage.«	That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
30	Mose aber wandte sich an den Herrn: »Ich bin so ungeschickt im Reden. Wie soll der Pharao da auf mich hören?«	And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
