1	Gottes Gericht über die benachbarten Völker / Drohungen gegen die Nachbarvölker von Juda / Gott besiegt Ammon Das Wort des Herrn kam zu mir:	The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
2	Du Mensch, wende dich gegen die Ammoniter und rede als Prophet zu ihnen.	Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
3	Sag zu ihnen: »Hört das Wort Gottes, des Herrn! So spricht Gott, der Herr: Als mein Heiligtum entweiht worden ist, habt ihr spöttisch ›Haha!‹ gesagt. Als das Land Israels verwüstet wurde, habt ihr euch darüber lustig gemacht. Ihr habt über das Haus Juda gelacht, als es in die Verbannung ging.	And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
4	Darum gebe ich Ammon denen zum Besitz, die im Osten wohnen. Sie werden Siedlungen bei euch anlegen und Wohnungen in Ammon errichten. Sie werden eure Früchte essen und eure Milch trinken.	Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
5	Ich mache Rabba zum Weideland für Kamele, die anderen Städte in Ammon zum Lagerplatz für Schafe. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich Gott, der Herr, bin.«	And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
6	Ja, so spricht Gott, der Herr: Du hast in die Hände geklatscht, Ammon, und mit den Füßen gestampft. So hast du das Land Israels lächerlich gemacht.	For thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;
7	Deswegen strecke ich meine Hand gegen dich aus. Fremde Völker werden dich ausrauben. Ich werde dich unter den Völkern ausrotten und aus den Ländern verschwinden lassen. Ich werde dich zerstören. Dann wirst du erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.	Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
8	Gott verurteilt Moab So spricht Gott, der Herr: Moab und Seir haben gespottet: »Seht, das Haus Juda ist nur wie alle anderen Völker!«	Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;
9	Darum fege ich die Berghänge von Moab leer und beseitige die Städte dort. Ja, alle Städte in den Grenzen des Landes zerstöre ich. Sie waren der Schmuck des Landes: Bet-Jeschimot, Baal-Meon und Kirjatajim.	Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth–jeshimoth, Baal–meon, and Kiriathaim,
10	Ich gebe das Gebiet denen zum Besitz, die im Osten wohnen und über die Ammoniter herrschen. Bei den fremden Völkern wird man die Ammoniter vergessen.	Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
11	Ja, ich vollstrecke mein Urteil an Moab. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.	And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
12	Gott schlägt Edom So spricht Gott, der Herr: Edom hat am Haus Juda Rache genommen. Die Edomiter haben immer mehr Schuld angehäuft, weil sie sich immer wieder an Juda gerächt haben.	Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
13	Darum spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich strecke meine Hand gegen Edom aus und rotte dort Mensch und Tier aus. Von Teman aus lege ich Edom in Trümmer, bis Dedan fallen alle durch das Schwert.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14	Meine Rache an Edom lege ich in die Hände meines Volkes Israel. Sie werden mit Edom verfahren, wie es meinem Zorn und meiner Wut entspricht. Die Edomiter werden meine Rache kennenlernen! – So lautet der Ausspruch von Gott, dem Herrn.	And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord God.
15	Gott vernichtet die Philister So spricht Gott, der Herr: Die Philister haben Rache genommen und das Haus Juda aus Rache lächerlich gemacht. Sie wollten es aus uralter Feindschaft zerstören.	Thus saith the Lord God; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
16	Darum spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich strecke meine Hand aus gegen die Philister und rotte die Küstenbewohner aus. Ich vernichte selbst die Überlebenden, die zur Meeresküste geflohen sind.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17	Ich werde mich fürchterlich an ihnen rächen und sie wütend bestrafen. Wenn ich mich an ihnen räche, werden sie erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin!	And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
