1	Dank für Gottes Verheißung VON DAVID. Ich danke dir von ganzem Herzen. Ich will dich mit Liedern preisen vor der versammelten Götterschar.	I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2	Ich bete in Richtung deines heiligen Tempels. Ich will dir danken für deinen Namen, der für deine Güte und Treue steht. Denn du hast eine große Verheißung gegeben, wie es deinem Namen entspricht.	I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3	Als ich zu dir rief, gabst du mir Antwort und hast meinem Leben neue Kraft gegeben.	In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4	Es danken dir, Herr, alle Könige der Welt. Denn sie hören die Worte aus deinem Mund.	All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5	Sie sollen singen von den Wegen des Herrn: »Groß ist der Herr in seiner Herrlichkeit.	Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.
6	Hoch ist der Herr, aber er sieht den Geringen. Er thront in der Höhe, doch er nimmt alles wahr.«	Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7	Wenn ich mitten durch Gefahren gehen muss, erhältst du mich am Leben. Wenn meine Feinde vor Zorn toben, streckst du deine Hand aus und rettest mich.	Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8	Der Herr bringt meine Sache zum guten Ende. Deine Güte, Herr, bleibt für immer bestehen. Lass nicht ab von allem, was deine Hände tun.	The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
