And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
29	Auch das übrige Volk schloss sich der Vereinbarung an: weitere Priester und Leviten, dazu die Torwächter, Sänger und Tempeldiener. Sie alle hatten sich von den Nachbarvölkern getrennt, um die Weisung Gottes zu befolgen. Auch ihre Frauen, Söhne und Töchter schlossen sich an – alle, die das nötige Verständnis besaßen.	They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
30	Zusammen mit den führenden Männern legten sie einen Eid ab. Sie schworen, nach der Weisung zu leben, die Gott ihnen durch Mose, den Knecht Gottes, gegeben hatte. Sie verpflichteten sich zur Einhaltung aller Gebote, Weisungen und Rechtsvorschriften des Herrn, unseres Gottes.	And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:
31	Der Inhalt der Verpflichtung Wir werden keine unserer Töchter mit einem Mann aus den Nachbarvölkern verheiraten. Und für keinen unserer Söhne werden wir eine ihrer Töchter zur Frau nehmen.	And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
32	Wenn Händler aus den Nachbarvölkern am Sabbat ihr Getreide oder andere Waren anbieten, kaufen wir ihnen nichts ab – weder am Sabbat noch an einem anderen heiligen Tag. In jedem siebten Jahr verzichten wir auf den Ertrag der Felder und erlassen alle Schulden.	Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
33	Weiterhin verpflichten wir uns, für den Dienst im Haus Gottes jedes Jahr eine Silbermünze zu geben:	For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
34	für die Schaubrote, das tägliche Speise- und Brandopfer, die Opfer am Sabbat, am Neumond und an den Festtagen, die zusätzlichen Opfergaben, die Sündopfer, mit denen Israel um Versöhnung bittet, sowie für alle Dienste im Haus unseres Gottes.	And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law:
35	Die Lieferung des Brennholzes haben wir ausgelost unter den Priestern, den Leviten und dem Volk. Jährlich sollen sie es zum Haus unseres Gottes bringen, nach Familien geordnet und zu festgelegten Zeiten. Das Holz wird verbrannt auf dem Altar des Herrn, unseres Gottes. So ist es im Buch mit der Weisung des Herrn vorgeschrieben.	And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the Lord:
36	Jährlich bringen wir Folgendes zum Haus des Herrn: das erste Getreide von unseren Feldern, die ersten Früchte unserer Obstbäume,	Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
37	unsere erstgeborenen Söhne und die erstgeborenen Jungen unseres Viehs – so wie es im Gesetz vorgeschrieben ist. Wir bringen also die erstgeborenen Jungen unserer Kühe und Schafe zum Haus unseres Gottes. Wir geben sie den Priestern, die dort ihren Dienst tun.	And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
38	Außerdem bringen wir den Priestern: das erste gemahlene Korn, die ersten Früchte von allen Bäumen, Wein und Olivenöl. All diese Gaben bringen wir in die Vorratskammern im Haus unseres Gottes. Den zehnten Teil unserer Ernte geben wir den Leviten. Sie sammeln diesen Teil in allen Orten ein, an denen wir die Felder bestellen.	And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
39	Wenn die Leviten ihren zehnten Teil einsammeln, soll ein Priester, ein Sohn Aarons, dabei sein. Die Leviten sollen von ihrem zehnten Teil wiederum denselben Anteil abgeben. Den sollen sie zum Haus unseres Gottes bringen und in den Vorratskammern abliefern.	For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
40	Dorthin sollen die Israeliten und die Leviten ihre Abgaben von Getreide, Wein und Olivenöl bringen. Denn dort befinden sich die Vorratsgefäße des Tempels. Außerdem halten sich da die Priester auf, die ihren Dienst tun, ebenso die Torwächter und Sänger. So wollen wir es dem Haus unseres Gottes an nichts fehlen lassen.	—
