| 1 | Bom é louvar ao Senhor, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altissimo: | It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: |
| 2 | Para de manhã annunciar a tua benignidade, e todas as noites a tua fidelidade: | To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, |
| 3 | Sobre um instrumento de dez cordas, e sobre o psalterio: sobre a harpa com som solemne. | Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. |
| 4 | Pois tu, Senhor, me alegraste pelos teus feitos: exultarei nas obras das tuas mãos. | For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. |
| 5 | Quão grandes são, Senhor, as tuas obras! mui profundos são os teus pensamentos. | O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. |
| 6 | O homem brutal não conhece, nem o louco entende isto. | A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. |
| 7 | Quando o impio crescer como a herva, e quando florescerem todos os que obram a iniquidade, é que serão destruidos perpetuamente. | When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: |
| 8 | Mas tu, Senhor, és o Altissimo para sempre. | But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore. |
| 9 | Pois eis que os teus inimigos, Senhor, eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; serão dispersos todos os que obram a iniquidade, | For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |
| 10 | Porém tu exaltarás o meu poder, como o do unicornio: serei ungido com oleo fresco. | But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. |
| 11 | Os meus olhos verão o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos ouvirão o meu desejo ácerca dos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim. | Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. |
| 12 | O justo florescerá como a palmeira; crescerá como o cedro no Libano. | The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. |
| 13 | Os que estão plantados na casa do Senhor florescerão nos atrios do nosso Deus. | Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. |
| 14 | Na velhice ainda darão fructos: serão viçosos e florescentes; | They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; |
| 15 | Para annunciar que o Senhor é recto: elle é a minha rocha, e n'elle não ha injustiça. | To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. |
