| 2 | Ó Deus, ouve a minha oração, inclina os teus ouvidos ás palavras da minha bocca. | Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. |
| 3 | Porque os estranhos se levantam contra mim, e tyrannos procuram a minha vida: não teem posto Deus perante os seus olhos (Selah). | For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. |
| 4 | Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador, o Senhor está com aquelles que susteem a minha alma. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
| 5 | Elle recompensará com o mal aquelles que me andam espiando: destroe-os na tua verdade. | He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. |
