| 2 | O Senhor edifica a Jerusalem, congrega os dispersos de Israel. | The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. |
| 3 | Sara os quebrantados de coração, e lhes ata as suas feridas. | He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. |
| 4 | Conta o numero das estrellas, chama-as a todas pelos seus nomes. | He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. |
| 5 | Grande é o nosso Senhor, e de grande poder; o seu entendimento é infinito. | Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. |

| 18 | Manda a sua palavra, e os faz derreter; faz soprar o vento, e correm as aguas. | He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. |
| 19 | Mostra a sua palavra a Jacob, os seus estatutos e os seus juizos a Israel. | He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. |
| 20 | Não fez assim a nenhuma outra nação; e, emquanto aos seus juizos, não os conhecem. Louvae ao Senhor. | He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord. |
